Where to start, we have been customers of this restaurant for years and enjoyed it. Something has changed - our order yesterday for take out was just plain awful. The fajita taco salad - the beef was so tough I had to trash it. The cheese and sour cream just tasted wrong. The chili pepper relano ordered with chicken was filled with the same tough beef. Chicken enchilada tough and dry. Lacked any flavor/sauce. I could go in but the "worst part" is my brother literally was ill after eating his dinner. Something obviously spoiled. Can't return and looking for a New Mexican fav restaurant!! The only "edible" part of the dinners was the bottle of Coke

There was HAIR in my food. I never complain and never spend time on social media writing a bad review. But I needed to. I ordered the Carne Asada which was great until I discovered that there was two pieces of lightly colored hair intertwined underneath my food between the Carne Asada and the rice. I brought this issue up to the manager who at first seemed to not know what to do and then asked if I wanted a reorder (which I declined because I was sick over it). Then I got the bill and he only took half the price of the meal off the bill. Honestly, this was baffling to me so I went up and said that I felt like I shouldn’t have to pay for this meal as it was disgusting for me. I never ask for this sort of thing. Usually, I just keep my head down when there’s a problem and deal with it but it was so stomach turning, that I had to. He told me that there was only men in the kitchen which implied that I must have been dishonest or it was my wife’s hair. My wife has dark hair and she was nowhere near my food and honestly it was so deeply entangled in my food that it would have been impossible. This was a shocking response to me. I understand mistakes but the lack of disregard was so upsetting. I have been here quite a few times before and brought a large group of 15 people a couple weeks ago and it was great. I want this business to do well. But I am so disappointed and I’m disgusted. The manager begrudgingly took the rest of the cost off my bill for the meal and after this whole ordeal finally said “sorry”. Its hard to believe someone’s sorry if they blame the customer like this. As I walked by to leave, I saw a woman with blonde hair washing dishes in the kitchen. So, I’m not sure why I was blamed. Makes me sad because I really like this restaurant.

Prompt service. Ordered tableside guac but didn't like the texture (felt creamy?). Asked for fresh guac and it was perfection, not creamy or mushy at all. Tres magueyes dinner tasted really good for the price, steak was cooked medium, shrimp was charred and grilled perfectly with season and the chicken was delish. Chicken soup was perfection. Very filling and nutritious .

My family and I have been here a many times over the years and it was usually a good experience. I took my wife there for Valentine's Day and the experience was really bad. They served my food (which was ACP) on a plate that was broken with two large chips out of the plate. Additionally, my food was not good as it almost looked like warmed up leftovers! As for my wife's food, it was much better then mine. This place could really use a reset button! What happened?

Food is excellent, buy staff don't seem to enthusiastic to have customers. We came in with an hour to closing and 30 minutes before the door said they were closed they rushed us and made us feel as though we were keeping them late. We left and they locked up and it was 30 minutes early according to the hours on their door. Eating out is so expensive these days that the experience should be outstanding too. Good food only isn't enough to keep customers coming back.

The pinnacle of neighborhood Mexican restaurants. I've tried a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one has the best food, service, and atmosphere of them all.
Always get fajita for two, this one was the worse that I have in a Mexican restaurant, they only serve one plate with rice, beans and salad, they didn’t ask for what tortillas, the server(old lady) roll her eyes when I told her we like corn tortillas, no good

Good and consistent food every visit. Fast service and friendly staff. Favorite dishes include Flautas de Pollo and Carne Asada. Lunch menu portions are just right!
