This of course is the famous Waffle House. It’s what you come to expect. Not sure why it was so empty at 6am but it was clean the food was as usual amazing. There isn’t much to say other than if you love Waffle House then you love it.

Monday morning, party of 4, from what I could tell there were two servers and one cook. The food was good, the employees were having a hard time communicating. Waffles got burnt, but were quickly remade. Bacon was crispy, everything else was good. 🙂

This place was filthy. Food all over the floor and tables and benches were sticky. I had to go from empty table to empty table to get my own salt, pepper, ketchup. My waffle was raw. With only two of us in the entire place you would think our food would come out all at once. It came out in stages. Our waitress never checked on us or refilled coffee. Staff was more concerned with hanging out with each other and sitting at the bar socializing than working. Disgusting restaurant. Avoid this particular Waffle House at all costs.

Arrived just before 7am and, even after a long shift & late relief, Dorothy served with a smile. Chef was on point. Establishment, including the restroom was clean. Am definitely going back when heading home to NYC.

For having 4 stars they’re so disorganized and ill prepared. So many staff members, yet people are waiting to get orders taken and to get their food in a timely manner. I ordered within 5 mins of entering and they didn’t start my food for another 30 mins. I waited almost an entire hour to get my food, only for the person who ordered after me to get hers first and leave, when it looked like she ordered more than I did. And the people who came in while I waited were waiting at least 10 mins to order. They’re lucky I’m patient or I would have walked out. They were busy but not so busy to be so disorganized and slow. One person taking orders with no help, and they wonder why she was all over the place confused. I felt sorry for her or else I would’ve left after they started my food and let them deal with the aftermath. I lost my appetite so I haven’t eaten yet to say if the food was at least good or not. But my son enjoyed it thankfully. If you go please just sit and eat. To go orders are HELL and overcharged. 20 percent gratuity for a wait like that is outrageous!
