Waffle house?

Always love their waffles to me they look like waffles but are soft like a pancake. Seems to be getting very pricey but guess that's everything these days. Inside was closed so atmosphere gets a 1 also hate the extra fee.

I was driving home real late at night, and since the restaurants at South Of The Border were all closed for the day, I am glad this place was open!
The food was great as was the service, and it definitely met my Waffle House expectations!
At the same time, I am curious now as to whether at this point it would still be open late at night, as had I have recently had trouble finding a Waffle House that is truly still open for in-person service 24/7.
Is it a new company policy?

Walked in around 330 and was told it was shift change and we would have to wait until the night crew came in to get our order taken. Then was given directions to the next waffle House... Just wow! I can't believe this is the world we live in now.,. We had been traveling for over 12 hours and had a small dog in the car, all we wanted was to get in and get out as quickly as possible but no one could be bothered about anything but clocking out when their shift was over... I guess I should've put the $50 tip on the table before I asked for service, but.... their loss, hope you got home on time?

Great waffles! So delicious and the two staff members working here were the nicest ever they were singing and dancing. The blueberry waffles were amazing. Staff were very attentive. The atmosphere is just like any normal waffle house, except the sign outside has an arrow.
Vegetarian options: Only vegetarian stuff here basically are the grits.
Dietary restrictions: Donât even look at this place if your on a diet, thatâs how unhealthy it is.
Parking: Parking lot in front of the restaurant. Sometimes itâs full, sometimes it isnât.
Kid-friendliness: They have those cool little hats and they are nice to children.

Your waitress there with wasnât nice to us at all. I didnât ask for a waffle and she literally forced us to take it. Nasty attitude! If she has personal problems she shouldnât have taken it out on me and my family. We are mixed White and Hispanic.

the food was nothing near the normal waffle house experience.
Service was absolutely ridiculous. Waited 10 minutes just to get a drink order, we didn't get our drinks until we asked after our food was being brought out. On top of that the food was awful, and our orders were all messes up. Watched two other parties get up and leave because they waited and didn't get any service. I would give a zero star but it doesn't give you that option. Love waffle house, just won't be back to this one.

This is the best waffle house we have been to in a long time! Came in at 10:30 am and they made us a fresh pot of coffee! Our drinks were never empty.

I left the South of the Border Motor Lodge in a bad mood but I want to stop that this Waffle House for breakfast and the reason why I gave it a real good rating cuz when I walked in the door they made me they made us feel at home the people that are working there that Saturday morning crew really work great together the friendly play keep that place really clean service there is wonderful I will definitely be back there no doubt in my mind cuz I've been eating at that Waffle House for at least 20 to 25 years

Food was good, service was horrible, took forever to get the waitress to serve us, I asked for a refill and she about bit my head off for asking saying she was already planning on it even tho she had passed the table three times at that point with an empty glass.
