This restaurant has the best tasting hamburgers I have ever had except for a restaurant in New York City. Servers are great and cleanliness is excellent. Their sanitation rating is 100%!!

What a great find in Roxboro. We were on the way back from the casino in Danville and stopped by for a nice lunch. Did a quick search and this place came up. Never been so we figured we give them a try. They have been open since 2013 and am embarrassed we never been. Wow did we mis out. I ordered the steak and my wife the chicken sandwich along with catfish bites. All were fantastic. And the service was super. The server was professional and quick with the food as it came out. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately I had to experience what was great, now...just meh. The food was the problem. It used to be fresh, tasty, and hot. Chicken sandwitch was dry, and tough. Sweet patato fries soaked in oil and cool. Not that anyone asked but that is ok I'll reciprocate and will not return.

Everything is delicious on the menu!! Great country ambiance and friendly service. If you never liked brussel sprouts growing up, you will now! The brussel sprouts are amazing, and definitely try yhe huge hamburgers??

My wife and I ate at Brookland Eats. We took the hour and ten minute ride to Roxboro. We were greeted at the front door by a very nice young lady who seated us promptly. Our waitress (Houston) was very kind and attentive! We ordered the Goat Cheese and Pear Salad, just to find out that they had no Goat Cheese, hmmm. We also ordered the Pecan Shrimp, this is where things really went south. Our waitress was busy with other patrons, expected. So, her "runner" walks up to the table, drops the plate on the furthest possible spot on the table, says, "pecan shrimp," and walks away. No hello, eye contact, nothing. Then our entrees came, and she did it AGAIN! Drop the plate, call out the item, walks off with zero interaction. Good part, the Crab Cake was SPOT ON! My wife enjoyed her Tuna as well. So, our take is, this is a very nice place, great ambiance, good food, and some really nice staff. The "runner" completely ruined our experience. And, she may want to find a different line of work! I had the catfish bites as an appetizer and the porkchop plate with collard greens and potatoes with a Ceasars salad. Delicious!!!Recent visit to-go not so good. There was a metal/chemical taste to the mashed potatoes that's concerning. Felt it my obligation to report since food tasting or smelling funny should be taken seriously. All other items tasted fine.Parking: Convenient

One of the absolute best meals I’ve ever had! Delicious appetizers and my medium rare filet was cooked perfectly and so flavorful, I didn’t add any A1 at all. The tarragon and mushroom risotto amazing. Drinks are good and reasonably priced, but a bit weak. Desserts were frozen from US foods and not very good, but our server did mention their pastry chef was on leave temporarily. I’d skip dessert until she comes back.

Enjoyed an awesome burger. One note though, the bulky role that it is served on was awful. Too bready and stiff. Need different rolls for the burger. But the actual burger itself was so good that i still rated the food a five. I would order the burger again but request a different roll or just eat it without.
