Took my aunt for her birthday. Our table was next to a roof leak near the entrance to the train car, and the restaurant smelled heavily of bleach. It was not a good first impression. Then, our order was messed up. Steaks were supposed to be medium and were served rare. The beef tips in burgundy sauce were inedible, and the buffalo chicken was served as regular fried chicken. Two of our loaded baked potatoes also came as plain. They tried to remedy the situation and remade some of our meals. The beef tips were removed from our bill, and we were charged for a salad bar instead. They also applied a 10% discount, but the damage was done. For what we paid, it was the first and last time we will ever eat there.

Also, I didn't like not being able to see our bill before we were asked to pay at the register. I had to ask for a receipt, and the only options were email or text.

Unbelievably rude owner/manager and very lax waitress. My husband and I visited 5/9/24 in the evening. There was a nice musical duo playing on the patio, and the place was attractive. That's where the good part of the review ends. We are vegetarians. Salad bar and spaghetti were the only things on the menu we could eat, but oh, well...we are used to that so no biggie. We ordered salad bar. My husband ordered a beer, and I ordered decaf coffee with cream. Is this hard? The salad bar was so-so in variety, but it was fresh. The problem was getting cream for the coffee. The coffee was served in dainty teacups which do not keep coffee hot. But, it was hot enough to drink. However, I asked for cream, but no cream arrived. I asked again and was assured it would arrive soon. It did not. So, I got up and went inside (where it's extremely cold - almost nobody was sitting in there because it's too cold). I asked my waitress for some cream. She said she would be right out with it. Five minutes later she arrived with a bowl of creamers. The bowl and the creamers were ice cold. If I had put this in my already cooled-down coffee, it would have made it cold. I pushed it aside and continued to try to have a good time. The musicians were very good. So, the owner, Mr. Personality, come by and asks if everything was all right. I told him about the cream. He said all the milk was refrigerated. I asked if they could heat up the cream. He said they could but, "That would be very unusual." I said, "Why would that be unusual?" He said, "Because NOBODY EVER HEATS UP MILK!" I reminded him that hot cocoa requires heated milk, but he audaciously denied that claim!!!!!!! He reiterated that milk is never served warm. Of course, he was just being a smart alack and a rude, boorish person. That's just him, I guess. The waitress came back and asked if everything was fine. We told her no and that her tip was going to the musicians and that we would never be back. I had told the owner that too, and he said, "Fine." This was our first visit to this joint, and it will be the last. Before I left, I said, "God Bless You" to the waitress who stood there and smiled through her teeth at me. And, I do hope God does bless them. I hope and pray that God changes people like this. There was no earthly cause for these people to be so rude and uncaring to customers. It was a little late in the evening when we arrived, but food was still being served and the musicians were still performing. We got salad bar, so they didn't have to cook us anything. Maybe making decaf coffee put them out. I don't know why they decided to treat us with such disdain and disrespect. Maybe they figured we were vegetarians, and they don't like vegetarians. I really don't know. There's no excuse for their behavior. We did nothing wrong except I did react strongly to the mistreatment after it happened. We did nothing to cause this disagreement. It's all on them. An explanation would be in order. Thank you for reading my complaint.

The place is attractive and the music was good but that is about all the positive I can give this place. Walked in and no one to seat us for a while. They have inside seating and patio seating. The interior was so cold we decided to sit outside in the sunshine. Service was OK until the end. They served coffee and we asked for cream. By the time the cream came to the table the coffee was cold. The cream was very cold and was useless to put into the coffee unless you want ice coffee. The owner came by and we asked if they could warm up the cream, he was very nasty and said no one ever uses warm cream or milk in anything. We mentioned items of food that use warm milk like hot chocolate, oatmeal etc and he just argued with us that milk or cream is never heated. Other items like the salad bar was less than average. They were out of Ranch dressing and only offered iceberg lettuce. I ended up using the blue chesse dressing which was tasteless. Anyway, after the Owner arguing with us about the coffee, we decided to just pay our bill and leave. I can't rate the food beyond the salad bar and drinks, becasue that is all we had. Do not recommend ever coming here.

The first time we ate here the food was awesome. We had Surf and Turf which was prepared excellent. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was amazing. We went back again on a Friday and the food wasn’t great at all. My baked potato was so dry and hard. Steak was not fully cooked. It was just a bad night. The waitress was not so friendly and our bill was high. We will be taking a break from this place.
