I wish they had a ZERO to choose for rating. I saw several items on menu that looked good but can't rate the food because we did not eat. The 4 girls that made up the wait staff could not bother to get up to seat us. We finally were seated and waited for 10 minutes while we watched the wait staff sit together and just talk. No one took our drink order much less a food order and we finally got up and walked out. And... we were not the only ones walking right back out... Will not be back.....and I hope that you go out of business.

Mya was our waitress and she was excellent! Service with a smile is a rare thing these days. The burger and cheesesteak we ordered were both excellent and a much higher quality than many other restaurants in the area! We also truly loved the ambience of the lanterns, it added to the whole feeling of being in a "fantasy" tavern. Really a cool vibe that can't be described, only seen-- it's Better in Person!

The servers were great. No issues there. The service itself was slow. There was a special event going on tonight. So there’s that. The food was what I was expecting from a bowling alley. I ate it all. There’s that.To reiterate. Servers great. Service slow.We will be back anyways.

The food is pretty good, and I'll say the idea at this tavern is really cool. The execution leaves a lot to be desired... the staff was not attentive and after waiting for 20 minutes we had to flag them down to take our order. The place was pretty much empty, so I see no reason this was the case. They also completely forgot about one of our entrees and then the staff was nowhere to be found for over 30 minutes. Maybe this was a bad day, but I won't be trying them again. Response to Janelle: I understand how that can go - we will consider this establishment again next time we are in the area. I'll also say that we were given some reimbursement for the late food, which I appreciated.

I've read mixed reviews of this restaurant for a while and I wasn't sure what to expect but we are very happy we decided to go. We were seated immediately and the host took our drink orders as we sat down. Our waitress came out with a plate of DELICIOUS complimentary honey-butter croissants, which we really enjoyed. The fried picklechips we ordered were perfectly crispy and hot. Our waitress was really thoughtful and brought out refills without us saying anything. And the Twisted Mac dragon was delicious. Wonderful service, great atmosphere, delicious food...I think we have found our new place.

These guys have really up'd their game. The food was terrific, and the service was unusually fast and quite friendly. JT was our server, and she was the best. The complimentary cinnamon croissants are a yummy addition as well. I think this will be one of our new favorite places to eat.

Sorry I don't have pictures but the steak that I got was amazing! It was cooked just the way I asked for and it also had that delicious char from the grill! I highly recommend the steaks. We also ate pizza which was also good and also some chicken wings. Everything was really good! You will not regret going here.

Palace Pointe may be the most interesting place in Roxboro. We’ve yet to have a meal that I’d say comes close to decent, but we’re not sure if it’s because of lack of skill or otherwise. I still give an extra star because at the very least, you’ll be in for a treat people watching and the service is great.Yesterday was our second time eating here. It was disappointing food the first time (don’t get the nachos) but we figured we’d give it another shot since not much else is around. We called ahead to order, but the phone just leads to prerecorded information so if you want takeout, you’ll need to order when you arrive and wait.Between our order and actually getting our food, it appeared a fight broke out in the kitchen. Someone rushed out behind the bar and called for help breaking up an argument in the back to another staff member. We waited and waited and watched as staff looked bewildered as something was clearly very wrong outside of public view. Someone mentioned the argument in the kitchen had spilled out into the parking lot. It took nearly an hour in total before our order was ready. We ordered a burger and chicken tenders since we figured they were the safest options after our last meal here. We were, unfortunately, very wrong. While it was takeout, we ate it as soon as it arrived since we were seeing a movie. The burger was incredibly oversalted, described as “like a salt shaker lid had fallen off during cooking” by my spouse. The chicken tenders were so soggy the breading had slid off and became a pile of mush underneath and yet somehow was simultaneously tough and overcooked. I’m not sure if it was so soggy because the mac was just shoved into the corner of the box with it or if the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long.I’m almost impressed with how much of a disaster our food was, but I maintain optimism whatever issues were happening in the back just overshadowed our order. If you choose to dine here, prepare yourself in advance for the food, buckle up for classic Person County drama, and sit back and enjoy the show.

We made plans to go see an earlier movie and then decided to go later. After that decision we were hungry and wanted dinner. I remembered the revamp of Palace Point, and now there was an actual restaurant. The croissants were a pleasant surprise and totally amazing! Everything we got was delicious! We got the Blazin' Chicken sandwich, Strawberry salad, and Nachos at our table. Noting the nachos had bacon, which sets them apart from most nachos. The Mac and Cheese is more of a white Cheddar and is creamy deliciousness. Salad was a good-sized portion. Our server was fairly new, but she was very attentive and took good care of us. Love the castle like dark with dim sparking light ambiance. Highly recommend for a quick bite before a movie, skating or bowling.
