Taste of New York Pizza & Grill ( roxboro location)

Impromptu plan to get dinner while we were out, I saw this pizza place on my list to try. We got mozzarella sticks to start. They may or may not be homemade, but they were cheesy, hot and delicious. Boy got.a cheese steak with fries and a side salad and i got Gyro with lamb. Everything was good. I 'could' have added more tzatziki sauce, but I'm trying to be good. There was a nice portion of sauce, I just usually like a lot... dripping. Our waitress was nice and answered all the questions... it was our first visit. Prices were slightly more than I expected, but in line with other places. We will be back because I feel like we need to try the pizza. I would definitely recommend visiting.

I went for lunch and was hoping to get a few slices of pizza. Unfortunately, you can only order pizza by the slice if it is to go. Literally, my whole reason for going there. I settled for a chicken parm hero and (pizza fries?). Bad decision for both. Chicken parm was mediocre at best. Not very good. The fries.....well, they should not be served....ever. Then we have the waitress. She didn't crack a smile once. She appeared a few times throughout my meal, but she could have stayed away. Please. If you are in the service business. Smile? Just once or twice. End result. I won't be going back. Maybe the pizza is good, but I won't make the drive to experiment.

Ordered a meat calzone. All it was was a big hunk of bread and cheese. Had a couple pieces of meat not to mention it was just disgusting. First and last time i pay $35.00 for that crap

Excellent food and excellent service. The pizza, salads and yeast rolls served to table before meal with flavored butter melted in your mouth. The 2 young ladies working the times were there gave exceptional service. They remembered us and our story. Took excellent care of my mom and I. Very neat and clean restaurant. We are from out of state and traveling through to Duke University. Found on Google and made it our go to stop! It will continue to be our stop in future as well when going through this area of NC! Thank you.

Horrible just order some garlic knobs and you can not eat them at all ?

7/1/24. My Daughter and I decided to check this place out. The atmosphere and size of restaurant were unexpectedly nice. Plenty of tables, an arcade area. And a massage chair. Next time we are bringing my Grands, they'll love the arcade. The Pizza was DELICIOUS!! Their fries are gonna bring me back ?. The calamari was chewy, rubbery and well, couldn't eat it. But the crunchy batter was good ?. Their hush puppies are slightly crunchy, light and fluffy. But their ? was DELICIOUS. Believe me, you'll be stuffed when you, with plenty of leftovers, like we were and did. ? the Service is not lacking anything. Drinks are self serve ?. Come check them out. See what im talking about. I'll be back to try the rest of the HUGE menu?❣️

Stromboli was good .the casher was nice .

If you haven't been, you need to go. My chicken cheese philly was so delicious. The homemade chips are to die for.

Mary was awesome! They were short handed and she was efficient and sweet. Great food!
