Mayflower Seafood Restaurant

Got a to go order and my total was 48 dollars, two days later I check my online banking and I was charged 58 dollars. Be careful if you use debit to pay they add tips on others bill that didn’t consent to it. Called the manger to try to resolve the issue at hand and was promised a phone call back which didn’t happen. Terrible customer service and I will NOT be back!

We went out to eat there tonight and found a hair in our food! When we checked out, we told the woman at the desk and she said it was nasty but never told anyone or discounted us! When I asked her about it she didn’t seem to care. We have been going there for 30 plus years! We won’t be back!

Good seafood at a great price and the owners are good People! ?

My husband and I went there for dinner, it had been a while so we decided to give them another chance. BAD IDEA I mean the food was Luke warm With no taste no seasoning at all just fish dry luke warm fish. So that was chance given chance loss

The restaurant was very slow when I went. Overall I had a good experience.

The prices were very competitive. Specials for as low as $9. The food was fresh and the portions were filling. I recommend the stewed green beans.

My only complaint is the tea was watered down.

This is the lunch menu baby flounder, $10.95. I got two plates and they didn’t even give me my slaw for $24.18. I didn’t even know you could keep fish this small. Where’s the game warden, ?. SMH. I won’t be back here for awhile.

I call a couple times a month to get my grandma a shrimp special. I called today. I didn’t realize it was five minutes before they opened, the girl asked me to call back because they were still opening up. No worries. I called back after they were open and got put on hold with felt like an attitude and left on hold. I called one more time (this time on my sisters phone) I was instantly answered and my order was taken. It felt like retaliation because I accidentally called before they opened and then called back when they opened per her request.

I live out of the state now and always loved Mayflower...NOT ANYMORE...I ordered a daily special and had to order another piece of fish since there was only one. I did not receive my cole slaw, tarter or cocktail. I called and when I did was told by Maria that I forgot my items and there was nothing they would do. The fish was extremely greasy and the portion size was extremely small. Please take your business elsewhere. I wish I could give a negative five stars. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER RETURN UNLESS OWNERS CHANGE! Maria was rude and not owner/manager material. She should be stocking shelves!

The food is great. The catfish is always perfect and they do not let their oil get old or dirty. The hush puppy rings are good and unique. We have not been disappointed.

I don't do seafood so I usually get the chopped sirloin and love it!! This last time I got popcorn chicken they were good, but rather large for popcorn chicken, was more like nuggets.
