This is the best catfish on Winston Salem it was my first time and I enjoyed every bite go check them out definitely worth it

Wanted a 2 item seniors plate but clams was not part of that so I got a regular 2 item plate and waitress told me after I had received the bill that instead of 16.45 mine was 18.45 which the clams showed MP on menu so they charged me 2.00 extra for clams and for a sweet potato they charge 1.00 more which I was not told either!! I went with my brother who goes there regularly but I will not be back!!! I'm a senior and on a fixed income now!!! Pretty sad the waitresses do not inform people in advance because I would not have gotten that!!!

Someone really needs to humble this owner, anyone I’ve seen who has had a VALID opinion, this owner has something negative to say back lol. Anyways let’s begin with my experience I had yesterday afternoon.Fries and mozzarella sticks was mediocre and bland, not really concerned with that tho, what I didn’t really appreciate is paying as much as I did and the food was bland and felt like I was just eating fried dough, the popcorn shrimp was all breading, no shrimp. And the chicken tenders was so bland and cold? All around if you have taste buds or any sense of ever having food that’s actually decent, you’ll agree their food could use an upgrade. Although, I will say portion sizes are huge, not sure why people complained about that, if only I could have actually liked the food I would have been stuffed!!Yes, inflation is a thing, and so is shortness of staff especially after Covid, we understand, but there’s plenty of restaurants going through the same situation but the food is actually decent and the owner and waitresses aren’t as pessimistic.Go somewhere else, or “don’t come back” like the owner would recommend as I’ve seen in other reviews. ?

Met a friend for lunch and ordered broiled shrimp and broiled scallops. The shrimp were overcooked although tasty. The scallops were very fishy tasting and smelled fish. Growing up on the coast of Maine when served scallops like this, we would assume they were not fresh. So I could not eat half my entree but had to pay full price. I ordered broiled flounder filet, fried zucchini, and deviled crab to take out. My husband found the flounder not only was dark side, ok with him, but also had scales and pine bones! The zucchinil was soggy. All in all, very disappointing food for $53! The hushpuppies, coffee and ice water were good. Will I return? Are you kidding?

The young staff hang out in lobby or behind the register talking or texting. Enjoy the meals but staff is hurting this business. Let the older waitresses work as they know customer service. Bus boy hanging out talking with younger staff while two tables around us sit with dishes. Young lady taking money asked how was everything. Her response was okay not even looking up at us. Owners need to wake up
