My family and I stopped here on our way to Florida from Virginia for lunch and we were very pleased with our dining experience. The food was prepared fresh and was tasty and our server got our orders correct and was attentive. The restaurant was empty we ordered tacos, fajitas and carnitas. My favorite item were the Al pastor tacos. They had a great flavor and came with onions and cilantro. The star of the show were definitely the homemade corn tortillas. They were light, soft and a perfect size. My whole family enjoyed them. This will definitely be our go to for lunch in future road trips

A handful of chips and a 1oz cup of salsa for 3 people to eat? Shameful and when I asked about it . The response was that's all they give. 5$ for cheese sauce that was in a 4oz cup Shameful. And no chips even given with it. I will never return.

So this is probably the definition of a hole in the wall type of restaurant but omg is it good!! I enjoyed the atmosphere which is super quiet with a faint sound of Hispanic tunes and although the seats look a little beat up it just feels cozy. They don't serve alcohol except for beer. The food is probably some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant even upscale ones, so there's no doubt that they know what they're doing. Will definitely go back when I feel like having a quiet lunch or dinner without the city traffic.

Good food, not enough spice though. I'll ask for them not to make it Gringo-light on the spice next time!?BUT, OMG, there is a cart with spices and veggies and all the accoutrement to liven up your meal!Parking: Parking in front of the street, diagonally like old time small townKid-friendliness: They will down spice for them!Wheelchair accessibility: One floor no steps.

Last time I was here, it was absurdly hot as there’s little to no air circulation, and to add there were roaches crawling on the wall in booth behind me. Unless the place has changed management and had work done, I wouldn’t suggest eating in.

Was wanting some soft tacos and beans n rice. So we stopped by the only Mexican restaurant in stpauls. I told the girl nothing spicy because of Gastrophrasis. Anything spicy will through a person with this condition on top of IBS INTO LABOR PAINS without being pregnant. So when I say Nothing spicy I mean it. Well every bit was spicy. Taco salad I got was spicy and awful. We had there before and it was good, but this time 3 stars and that's being kind. She should of told me "All" the food was spicy. It wasn't on my last visit. So this restaurant is on my avoid list. Sorry... ppl need to listen. Seriously this disease isn't a joke.

Food was authentic and delicious, the only thing that kinda bothered me was that one of the waitresses kept sweeping around our table, stirring up dust while I was trying to eat.
