Driving south (of course). Looking for something that is not fast food, not your average restaurant experience.
Found Pauline’s Place. Very short hop off 95. Everything southern you could hope for. I got one of each! Catfish, okra, hush puppies, pulled pork.
It was very tasty. Ate outside on the tables. The staff was all smiles and courtesy. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you are missing a taste of home. If you life in St. Paul’s already then I ain’t telling you anything you don’t already know. God bless!

I'm in town for work, and when I looked this place up, I knew I had to try it. I told one of the wonderful ladies working the drive thru that I had never been, and she helped me figure out my order. This place absolutely did not disappoint. The food came out so hot and fresh, and goodness was that the best catfish I've ever had. I literally burned my fingers eating because it was THAT good. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the greens and potato salad definitely hit the spot. I can easily say that they are probably going to know me by name by the time I have to leave town.

Shrimp basket was hot, fresh and delicious. Chicken sandwich was fried chicken breast, with the bone? On a bun. Delicious, but bones don't belong in a sandwich. Just my thoughts. Will definitely be going back!
Quick, efficient, great, friendly customer service, amazing food, and decent prices. Wheelchair accessible ramp, two sets of stairs, and a deck with 4 picnic tables and a waiting area bench.
