About half of us didn’t really like our food and half did. Overall, we weren’t very impressed. It may be because we’re not from around here, but we felt misled by the “BBQ” plate and sandwich. Was it wrong of us to assume it came with BBQ sauce? It did not, and no one was really a fan of the meat on its own unfortunately.

I did get a grilled cheese myself and it was okay but I wouldn’t go to get one again. It was just the only vegetarian option on the menu.

The hushpuppies though… 10/10!

The shrimp burger was amazing! Non-locals should note that the barbecue is southern vinegar style. Very fast service.

The shrimp burger is amazing and everyone was so friendly!

Food has always been good. Parking has gotten a lot better. I also really appreciate the gentleman directing traffic as making a left out of there on a busy beach saturday in the summer can be challenging. Shrimp burger is unreal.

Ordered several sandwiches including a double cheeseburger plate with no onions (allergic to onions). Got a double cheeseburger full of onions with no fries, hush puppies, or drink. Won’t go back!

Always stop here when in town. Good food, good people. Always got the shrimp burger, but not today. Cheeseburger did not disappoint. Hand pattie and homegrown tomato.

A FB post led me here - I was not disappointed! Easy to find and the lunch rush had gone, so parking was easy also. I got a burger & and fries, and both were delicious. I think at one point, they were cash only (they have an ATM on site), but they do take cards now. Nice area behind it with shade & picnic tables. I thought prices were fair, and everyone was incredibly nice.

Best all the way cheeseburger and hot dog with onion rings is the way to go here!

Undoubtedly the very best burger you will find anywhere in Carteret County!! Burgers are cooked to perfection and the meat is not the frozen patties you get from most places. If you haven’t been there and tried their burgers, do yourself a favor and go. I promise you won’t regret it!
