pinnacle broccoli experience. Make sure you order anything with broccoli as a side or just broccoli straight up, as is.
Best restaurant in Saxapahaw. The food is great, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy.
Took my wife and mother in law for our first time on Mother’s Day. Food was good and most staff were nice except our server. She was not friendly/welcoming at all. No water refills or dessert offered. No thank you or have a great day. We felt like we were a bother to her just for being there.
Half way through our meal, my kids asked for lemon/lime soda. She seemed like it was an inconvenience despite an upsell on the check which she didn’t even try to get on her own. Not sure if it was an off day for her but I saw her leave soon after we did.
Emailed management about this and only received a basic apology about using this as a training tool. No attempt made to get the guest back in for a better experience on the second visit. Mother’s Day brunch was a huge disappointment.
What a view! We sat on the patio (deck) with a stunning view of the property — gardens, historic buildings, nature and the mighty Haw River. I had the breakfast burger. It was perfect! I also had the home fries with HOMEMADE KETCHUP!!! I’m not usually a ketchup eater but this may have been the highlight of my meal. So delicious!! My brunch companions all ordered the grit bowl and couldn’t stop talking about how unique and delicious it was. We will definitely be back!!
Good food, good vibes. Best attended with good friends.
The staff was great! I was seated immediately. I received my Buffalo chicken sandwich is a timely manner. The chicken itself was delicious. I highly recommend not getting the ingredients that come with it. The mayo, pickles alongside the Buffalo sauce, made the sandwich difficult to eat. I pulled the sandwich apart and ate the chicken only. The hand cut fries were delicious!!
One thing I didn't like was that the women manger was speaking rudely to the employees. She said something about docking their hours. This should have been something that a customer should never hear while dining. Business needs to be handled in a different manner
She needs to receive communication training. Her delivery was horrible. You could see that what she said put a damper on the employees' spirits. I will revisit this place only because of the servers.

Requires a reservation for good seating that is definitely important. Good food and very nice employees. Very close to a trail for walking the views are absolutely beautiful. Great place for a date!

My sister and I live 100 miles apart in NC so sometimes life gets in the way and we go months without seeing each other. This time we decided rather than drive 100 miles each way to meet in the middle. Searched for a midway point and VOILA! The Eddy! You can make reservations which is super helpful (My Tip: review the menu while you prepare for this wonderful experience and save time on the 1hr 15min table limit). Our server was Evan and he was very knowledgeable about what was on the menu and lots of fun to chat with. The food was delicious all around! My husband, my sister and her friend all REALLY enjoyed the fresh ingredients in our entrees. We also had cocktails from the menu as well. Very tasty beverages and there are mocktails as well in case alcohol isn't your thing. Amanda was our hostess. She was a lot of fun to talk to and get info on where we could stroll later after our meal. After we finished, we strolled along the river and made some purchases in the adjoining shops. I am so glad we decided to eat here and can't wait to come back!

My family and friends and I come here somewhat and the food is just the best! Everything is made from scratch and I had a chicken sandwich and fries! The best thing I’ve had ever at a restaurant. Our server was very nice - I forget his name - but the service and the staff are super friendly. I love this place and cannot rave about it enough! Every time I come here, the food is just beyond delicious! :)

Food was delicious! We had the chicken sandwich and burger and both tasted fresh, not too oily or greasy, but full of flavor.

The Eddy is riding on their laurels and used to be an amazing spot. The table service was absolutely ridiculously slow. The drinking water was litterally undrinkable. My beer was flat so I sent it back - but they never got around to replacing it. We were there 30 minutes before we had drinks in hand (flat beer) and 50 before we had food. We asked for a table near the window and we were told they were all reserved but no one ever came to fill them, so we missed the sunset while our preferred table sat empty. If you go here, go to the bar where there is real service (as we observed the regulars all did). Or go when they have the outdoor yellow jackets under control which they do not (simple to control with a few well placed traps) and sit outside. The atmosphere is great so I hope they get back on top of service.
