“When my daughter started classes up the street I would pass by and notice the parking lot was always full, so today I decided to stop and check it out when I noticed a few open spots. As someone with mobility issues I appreciated the entrance had a ramp which meant I didn't have to navigate stairs. Upon entering I was promptly greeted with genuine southern hospitality. I had the steak and cheese sandwich with fries and it was fast, hot, and fantastic as was the service. It is noteworthy to add that you must exit the restaurant to access the restrooms but if you don't 'gotta go' it's no big deal. I'm glad I stopped in and hope to be back soon!”

“If you are looking for fresh food prepared with local quality ingredients at the zoo this is the place for you! There are a few good salad options, particularly the cobb salad, and the grits bowls are very unique. The Turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo is also excellent. They even sell local teas! This is a huge step up from the normal fried food and burgers that you can get throughout the zoo. So if you are at the zoo and looking for good quality and something other then fried food or a burger be sure to check out this awesome cafe! As members of the zoo we are definitely going to be eating here again next time we visit!”
