We love The General Wine and Brew, David is so nice and always has great wine suggestions. We try to get up from Charlotte a couple times a month. Tonight was our 27th wedding anniversary and we chose to spend it at the wine and brew.

The owner is also the mayor. There are no other drinking establishments in the town and many people say that it's a monopoly because he controls the zoning board as well and there's just something that I don't trust about him.. I can't support this business.

Great spot to unwind and think about all the pottery that you just bought. The owner, David is super friendly. He has a nice selection of wine and beer and will let you bring in food from the Mexican place down the street.

This is probably the third time I've stopped at the general since it opened a couple years ago. It's nice to have a laid-back place right here in seagrove to come enjoy a cold brew or glass of wine. Mostly older folks in here tonight. We're usually not much for crowds so didn't stay long, maybe 30 minutes. They have a large selection of craft beer and wine. There was a food truck on site tonight as well.
