We stopped in for dinner & drinks at the end of our first day of a 2-day drive. We have not had good experiences with big chains in this area and were looking for a meal that actually tasted good and had good ingredients. This place had it! The food was phenomenal and the proprietors are incredibly sweet and accommodating. The grilled steak plate with peppers, plantains, beans & rice was big enough for my husband & me to share. Yum!

I do NOT recommend this place for anyone.Bar atmosphere, without privacy to eat calmly. The food takes a long time and when it arrives it is cold. The people who work there (some) have no education or respect for the rest. The environment has a bad smell.the food is very expensive. It must be paid in cash. The invoice is a rudimentary piece of paper????????????I DO NOT recommend this place for anyone.Bar atmosphere, without privacy to eat in calm. The food takes a long time and when it arrives it is cold. The people who work there (some) have no education or respect for the rest. The environment has a bad smell.Very expensive food. You must pay in cash and the invoice paper is very rudimentary.

I love the food from this restaurant, I see a lot of bad reviews and I can't believe it, I've been going to that restaurant for years and I've never had a problem, the food is not that expensive, they give a lot of food, it's super good and fresh, I've been In many Homduran restaurants and this restaurant makes the best Honduran food, the tajas are the best, the baliadas are super good, all the food from this restaurant is good, I'm Dominican and I love their food, the owner is always nice to me, she calls me my My friend, a very nice and humble lady, how bad some people make bad comments about that place when it is a good restaurant, from the most sincere of my heart the food is super good, not everything is negative, and good attention, sometimes people go thru a hard situation or have a bad moment, we are not perfect, the only thing the I can said is the I recommend it 100%. sincerely Geddy.I love the food in this restaurant, I see many bad reviews and I can't believe it, I've been going to that restaurant for years and I've never had a problem, the food isn't that expensive, they give a lot of food, it's super good and fresh, I've been in many Honduran restaurants and this restaurant makes the best Honduran food, the tajas are the best, the baliadas are super good, all the food in this restaurant is good, I am Dominican and I love their food, the owner is always nice to me, I says my friend, a very humble lady, it's too bad that some people make bad comments about that place when it's a good restaurant, from the most sincere of my heart the food is super good, not everything is negative,They have good attention sometimes people go through a difficult situation or go through a bad time we are not perfect the only thing I can say is that I recommend it 100%. sincerely Geddy.

For the food I would give it 5 ⭐I ate the best seafood soup in the entire Carolina area. But instead it is very oldThe environment is dirtyThe bathrooms are very dirtyAnd it is more Bar than they restorePeople SCREAM, they can't talk normally because the music is too loud. And one of the biggest problems is that you can only pay in CASH.You CANNOT pay with a credit or debit card.

The service is terrible, the person in charge of that restaurant shows a lack of education, the waitresses are confused, you order something to eat and they bring you something else, they do not accept payments with cards, only cash, but there is no sign that says that, and to stop Bad luck, the day I passed by there, the bathroom was ruined, flooded with water with fecal waste... I don't recommend it, I gave it a few stars because it wouldn't allow me to publish it, but they don't even deserve that.

A dirty place does not have a cooker-smelling salt hood. I asked for a seafood SOUP, they gave me a pound of cassava, two green bananas and 6 shrimp and only cash. Trash. Nothing to do with the photo of the soup

The woman that runs this establishment is very rude and has a very bad attitude came in during business hours and she told me they were closed even though they were clearly open for business I will never come here again my first time was my last time I do not recommend coming here at all if I could give zero stars I would she had some nerve lying if she didn’t want customers why are u in business ????

Bottom line up front: good food, nice lady running the place, loud music, reasonable price. Take the chance, but only open Friday-Sunday.I’ve driven past many times and finally decided to give Honduran food a try. The nice lady that ran the place made some suggestions. We tried to resist the tacos. Being d*** Americans we thought we’d already eaten tacos before. SURPRISE! They’re not the same. I mean, yeah, there’s meat and stuff inside a shell, but it’s more like if a cannoli lived a good life and was rewarded with reincarnation as a dinner instead of dessert.Be careful if you’re an horchata drinker at your local Mexican joint. This version was STRONGLY alcoholic. The wife would not have been capable of driving afterwards, so it’s a good thing I was the one with keys. She has no idea what it was spiked with, but it was smooth and tasty. And cheap! The price was pretty reasonable. It’s not bargain basement, but it was fair. The horchata was only about $4.50, which considering the amount of alcohol was extremely cheap. The atmosphere was better than lunch stand but pretty basic. The music was pretty loud.Obviously, if you’re Honduran or have familiarity with Honduran food then you know what to order. But if you’re reading my review then I’m guessing you’re not. Throw yourself on the mercy of the lady running the place. Just tell her you’re new to Honduran food and go with her suggestions. Bring friends, order several different things, and share. Just make sure to bring a designated driver.
