Came to Fry Daddys after going to the Old State Food Hall and being disappointed with the selections. I have to say that Fry Daddys is a gem and definitely worth the visit. There's not a lot of seating and it is within the closed off gas station area, but don't let that stop you. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth the stop.

Poor experience to show up at 7:24PM on Saturday, 01/27/2024 only to be told they are closing the minute I pull a chair to sit down. I was hungry and had planned to dine in plus order food to go. The restaurant was well lit, door open, and appeared very lively with quite a number of cars and diners with tables full of food. I called back and asked if I misread their hours which show a closing time of 9:00PM. They said they close early in the winter (those are summer hours) because business has been slow. Well you folks just lost a local customer. This may be one reason your business is slow!

Wanted to try something new after shopping at the Smithfield outlet. Saw this place on the Google maps. I also read the reviews I was very disappointed the chicken was dry with no taste. The fries had too much seasoning. I will not be going back .

First let me say my husband and I are truck drivers/expeditors. We have been to all 48 of the lower states. And hands down, this place has the best catfish I have ever tried. It was perfectly cooked~and seasoned. The Cole slaw is homemade and delicious. The patty melt was everything you could want in a burger, juicy and cheesy and oniony! Fast service, hot and fresh. The portion size is enormous. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff was friendly and personable. Definitely a must stop for us when we are close.

First experience and everything was delicious! The catfish was cooked perfect and the coleslaw was sweet goodness. The fry seasoning added a nice change. We also recommend the Frydaddy burger also! Loaded homemade patty!

Miles above the local food hall, for quality not just price! Came in right at 11. Was greeted by the southern hospitality we all know and love. Got recommended the daily special of 2 piece flounder, two sides, hush puppies, and a sweet tea for 10 bucks….can’t beat it. I got it and it was a perfect way to start my day in Selma! Got a piece of fresh red velvet cake too!!! I will come back with my wife in the future!
We were in the area and found them online and decided to give them a try. The food was delicious. The service was quick and our server was very nice and friendly. We will eat here again.

Service was fine. Real hamburger, but the gravy ruined it. Cream potatoes instant, fried okra were kept under a heat lamp. Not very good quality food for the price.
