Husband and I had the 10 oz Angus Ribeye . Salad bar was great and had a bake potato. Staff and cook were friendly and enjoy the low key environment.
Great local place off 95, get there early, or call to place your name on a list. Otherwise, you'll be waiting. Only 35-40 seats. No frills, order a steak (various ounces) or pork chop, each entree comes with baked potato and salad bar. Deliciously cooked and seasoned. Friendly staff, several checked on us throughout the meal. Fresh appealing salad bar, usual staples, nothing grand. Homemade dressings. We enjoyed our visit.

This is the 3rd time I've been there, we absolutely love this little gem tucked away in Micro! Hidden behind a hand painted Pepsi mural,on a brick building, just beyond the train tracks is one of the best local restaurants you can find! (I wish I could keep this place a secret, but it's too good not to share!) The vintage signs and decorations bring you back to a simpler time, combine that with the smiling faces of staff, spacious seating and overall family friendly atmosphere and you can't go wrong! The salad bar is wonderful, plenty to choose from, the ranch is very good. I have had the ribeye, aged ribeye and tonight the filet, all of them where extremely flavorful. The baked potato topped with flaky salt is massive, top it with butter or sour cream and it is perfect. I will never go back to a steak house in raleigh again! The price point, food and service quality can't be beat! Make sure to say Hi to uncle Donny on your way to the restroom!

Great hidden treasure located in the tiny town of Micro, NC. Specializing in Angus Ribeyes, this is the best place around for a perfectly cooked steak. Only open Thurs-Saturday, and with a small menu, they really do shine with their selection of fresh salad, great steak, and a baked potato. What more could you need? Highly recommended, but expect to pay a premium for the premium quality and service.
