The main thing I go to Pizza Inn for is the chocolate chip desert pizza. The one on the buffet looked extremely undercooked (wet) so my mom and I ordered one to go. We ordered it lightly done. The pizza was straight up liquid when we got it. My mom had them cook it a bit longer, after which it wad no longer runny, but was still extremely wet looking. My mom was told it would solidify as it cooled (it never did). It looks like maybe oil was subbed in place of butter or someone added way too much oil...like 2 cups instead of 2 tbsp. The entire pizza and box were soaked in oil.
The rest of the buffet and rest were the same as any other time I've been to a Pizza Inn. No clue what happened with the desert pizza...

Honestly this is the worst pizza I've ever had. The atmosphere was basic and the service was mediocre. I could tell the difference in my yt server treating the other yt customers versus the lack luster service we received. Sounds dramatic but I'm sticking with Anthony's pizza.

This is the second time in a week that I've visited this Pizza Inn while traveling. The first time was during lunch hours, about 11:30am, and for that visit I would give 5 stars. The second time was for dinner, 5pm, and I would give 1 star. Such a difference depending on what time of day you visit! During lunch, the pizza bar was well stocked and the salad area was clean and neat. During dinner, there was very little pizza out and we sat for over 20 minutes without any new being brought out. Also, the salad bar was a mess with different items being mixed together, like ranch in the salsa, and there was food all over it that needed cleaned up.
I will say, service both times was very good, but a pleasant server can't compensate for lack of pizza on a buffet. One thing to note, during the visit at dinner time, the restaurant was not busy. The servers were even discussing how slow it was compared to usual. My thought was, well you wouldn't have any pizza to feed them if they showed up!
I will come back again if traveling through the area, but only if it's during lunchtime.
This place is such a hometown favorite, when not so busy. Took my boyfriend here for the first time Friday night and the service was terrible. Our server complained and was very slow to meet our needs. The food was also lack luster, the food bar had spills everywhere, a lot of choices were missing and the young lady checking us out giggled when we asked if their machine took swipe or insert- it did not. I’ve learned my lesson not to visit on such a busy night. They definitely gotta work on efficiency, updating check out methods and as our server kindly mentioned- hiring more people.

Last night I watched the staff throw out a man that they said was homeless, because they claim he asks people for money there. Lastnight he was there eating a small pizza that I watched him pay for at the window. They sent out their strongest looking cook and some child with a manager name tag to throw him out. “You gotta go”… He paid for his food like everyone else and was simply sitting down at the booth next to us, eating. It was one of the most heart breaking things I’ve ever seen. This man didn’t look homeless to me, but was very clearly mentally ill. He needed kindness, and I regret not chasing after him and offering my help. The 22 year old looking manager should be ashamed of himself, along with the unsavory hostess who loudly said “that’s that guy and he ain’t supposed to be I. Here” … overall low class behavior from a group of heartless people. We won’t be going back which is a shame because our toddlers love it.

Ate there last night. The waitress was excellent. There needs to be something done about kids at the buffet. Children were handling the pizzas and one boy walked by and stuck a ball that he had been handling in one of the pizzas. The parent just looked the other way. Also noticed the ones in the pizza making area were not wearing gloves. Would it be possible to have Children under 12 be with a parent when making their selection. Maybe the health inspector needs to pay a surprise visit. Will not be eating there again.

We ordered online and drive thru pick up. The lady at the window was great, she was friendly, happy, professional and very polite. She made our pick up experience very enjoyable.
