Took my granddaughter to the new Chick-fil-A in Sherrills Ford today. The decor is always eye appealing around the holidays in their locations, and this particular one was decorated with trees and other greenery. The restraunt was pretty clean and staff was friendly.

They took a little long but they were very kind and acknowledged the wait and threw in a free cookie. And of course the food was great.

Ordered a kid’s juice in the drive-through and was not given a straw for it, though an extra adult straw was included instead. I didn’t notice until after pulling away. Small mistake, but it made the drink unusable and could’ve been avoided with a simple check.and Ordered strips, received nuggets. Basic order mistake and very disappointing.

Im sorry Chickfila.. I have tried giving you the benefit of the doubt so many times, but im just sick of it at this point. How is my order never correct? 1 time I ordered nuggets and got strips. Another time I ordered 4 strips and got 2 strips. Ive ordered a kale salad and got French fries. Today I got cold nuggets and no straw for my drink. Why does someone have to ask for a straw to drink their drink and why do I need to request food to be at least warm? I know the owners Standards are higher than this and I am just baffled how these mistakes keep happening.

I’ve hit this location three times now, and honestly? I’m done giving the benefit of the doubt. I chalked the first visit up to new-store growing pains… but each time it somehow manages to get worse.

It’s bad — like manager-outside-in-the-drive-thru apologizing to everyone bad. They can’t control the drive-thru flow, the inside is just as slow, and the whole operation feels like it’s held together with hope and duct tape.

If this were McDonald’s, I’d roll my eyes and keep it moving. But this is Chick-fil-A — the supposed gold standard. The place known for service so smooth it practically sings.

Well, this location? It’s off-key, out of tune, and dripping with disappointment.

Here’s hoping they wake up, fix the mess, and start living up to the logo on the building.
