Having just purchased a tiny house across the street, I thought I'd give it a try. I'd noticed how busy it got and assumed it must be pretty good. I tried it tonight and was very impressed. Had a fabulous waitress and the floor manager took the time to speak with me for a few moments, once she realized I was new in town. Filet mignon was very good, as well as the side. They also had a really nice salad bar too. Considering it's been there 53 years, that should speak for itself. You won't be disappointed.
Too expensive. They are not interested in the average working person. I will not go back. Steaks may be good, had to settle for salad bar, it’s almost 20 dollars.
Last few visits the prime rib was tough. This time prices were jacked up, prime rib was still tough, asparagus was $2.99 extra & half of it was "woody" and not edible, just all around bad visit. Not worth the $80 for two that we paid. Won't be going back any time soon. Definitely NOT the best prime rib around anymore. I do agree that it used to be.
This is the place for you if you love a great salad bar, excellent steaks prepared to perfection, fantastic sides, and great service from the staff. The salad plates were chilled, the fresh baked yeast rolls came out nice and warm with creamy butter and honey butter. They give you time after your salad bar visit to enjoy that before bringing your hot steaks on cast iron plates. Crispy, super thin onion rings are on the side with your choice of other sides. We had sweet potato, and potato wedges. All were great, as were the rib-eyes. Nice char on outside, perfect inside. But, go early unless you don't mind waiting on a table. Reservations for party of 10 or more only.
Had a great dinner at Linerberger’s Cattle Company last night! We were seated right away, it was a Wednesday night so they weren’t super busy. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh! I had Chicken Parm and he had the Cowboy Steak, both were delicious and hot! I forgot to take pictures before we started eating, but everything was amazing and the staff was friendly.
Waitress was friendly the first few minutes we were there then she acted as if we were a bother. The young man that helped carry food to our table was not friendly at all even rolled his eyes when I asked for the gravy / mushrooms that came with my meal. Two of the ladies had sweet potatoes they were so cold that the butter wouldn’t even melt as well as being burnt. Two of us got the beef tips the others had the kids beef tips. The two regular beef tips had only ONE more tip than the kids plates did. Very disappointed.

Salad Bar,great, Cowboy steak horrible. Service horrible our families have been going there for 35 years. What has happened.
I will have to paraphrase this by saying it was Valentine’s Day and the place was packed, so I understand if the food wasn’t up to par considering every table was taken up. The apps, bread and sangria’s were amazing. Server was great. Food came out surprisingly fast. My entree, a 14 oz delmonico rib eye was cooked medium well/well done at best although I ordered it medium rare. My wife’s Philly ribeye cheesesteak was soggy on the bottom as if it was pre made in preparation for the rush.

My family and I had just recently eaten here. We were sat immediately and our servers name was Sarah. She was very welcoming, super respectful and genuine which you don’t see much these days with people working in the service industry. Sarah made everyone feel at home and was very on top of drink refills and all of our requests. If you go ask for Sarah!! We each got a steak I myself got the Garlic Peppercorn and a baked potato. It also comes with a trip to the salad bar. Salad bars in my opinion are usually very messy and not sanitary but this salad bar was phenomenal. The salad girl was very sweet as well. The steak was cooked to perfection, but there were complaints at our table about the potato being hard, but overall it was pretty good. For dessert we just got a cup of ice cream but i definitely will be back for the Lake Norman Mudd Pie. The GM Amber came over and talked to our table, extremely sweet. The bartender Peggy also came and said hello to our table. The hospitality and overall experience was great! Definitely recommend!

Went on a Friday at 5pm as they open at 4:30pm and the place was already packed. Sat right away thankfully but in a room where the tables are on top of each other. The salad bar was great and the bread was fresh. It was slow to get our main food but our server Jordan was really kind and checked on us often. Husband had the chicken sandwich and I have had the 8oz NY strip. It was charred more than I would have liked but as least it wasn’t well done.

We went Feb 15, 2025. Waitress was good salad and potatoe was good. Had to sent steaks back. They were way too done. The Fillet Mignon was rare and suppose to be medium. We were disappointed.

This was our second time coming to Linebergers steakhouse, we came to celebrate our 13 year anniversary. My prime rib came out completely rare and had to be taken back and cooked more. My husband ordered ribs and the sauce on them has changed and was very strong of vinegar. The Mac n cheese had a really bad taste to it that my son ordered. My husband and son’s drinks were empty and stayed empty for a while. We were placed in a room by ourselves and it felt like we were forgotten at times. The server was extremely nice but the food and service were not good at all. The quality of food we got wasn’t near as good as we remember it being the first time we went.
I don’t usually come to Facebook to post reviews, but I had such a pleasant experience at Lineburgers that I couldn’t hold my tongue. I went on a Thursday night and was promptly seated and taken care of by a wonderful, diligent, and attentive waitress. I had the pleasure of speaking with both the general manager and the assistant general manager who were walking around and checking in with diners. They had stopped by the table of a 20 something year old young man and his large, handsome, 30 something year old friend. I had a large delicious salad and then one of their weekly specials (the shrimp and grits) which was also incredible. This wasn’t my first time going here and it certainly won’t be my last, this place just seems to get better every time I visit! Overall I can’t recommend it enough!
To start, our waiter was great. He took good care of us and made sure to make things as fast as he could. Now for the food. The appetizers were good. Fried pickles, HUGE mozzarella sticks, and crab cakes. All of our steaks were cooked above the level we asked for but they were still juicy. The macaroni and cheese was the worst I have ever had. It was basically noodles with shredded cheese on the top that was barely melted. The salad bar was probably the best part of the whole meal.

It was NYE and only a 45 min wait. Great deal. We’re seated and greeted. We give our appetizer order for the potato skins immediately. There is a wait for the skins, but we were deciding on entrees. The skins come out like they were under a lamp for another order. Mildly warm and congealed cheese. My wife ordered the trail boss medium with a shrimp skewer and I ordered the del monico med rare. The wait was long. Steaks come out charred and questionable. The trail boss is ok. The shrimp was charred to rubber and shell on, but the steak had some color left. The del Monico was thin and cooked all the way through. No color. The waitress apologized and replaced the del monico. It came back out great. The sides were average. Broccoli, wedges, tater tots, and Mac n cheese. Tough bill to swallow.
