Had been wanting to try for a while but do to the reviews was hesitant. Went yesterday, got the steak and shrimp with extra sauce. It was so good!The guys were not the friendliest but not horrible either. Just busy.Will definitely eat there again.
The food is great! I've payed much more at a fancy hibachi restaurant to get food that wasn't this tasty. The interior is quite pleasant, especially for a strip mall location. This is definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant in this area.
Really enjoyed the food. It was tasty, and pretty equal in quality to the food at more expensive hibachi restaurants. I wish they had a little nicer atmosphere inside, but it was clean and nice and I really have nothing bad to say. I will definitely be going back to Akira and am really thankful to have this little place in Siler City.
