Read reviews and saw they had good ribeye streak sandwiches. Excited I was. Went to window without needing a menu and when I ordered my steak sandwich, the cashier stated they haven’t had steaks in 5 months. So got a cheese burger and fries which was average. Bummer.

Normally we enjoy stopping in to grab a bite. Tonight, we had a very different experience. When we ordered, the young lady seemed very uninterested in being at the window. It was clear, my husband asked for a pimento cheese burger. I noted what he said because it was different from his normal order. When our order was ready, he had a strange cheese burger with raw onions; no pimento cheese. I can assure you this would never be his order. When went up to ask for what he ordered, he was assured by the staff that he got what he ordered. Eventually they did give him what he had requested. I will offer a hint; put your phone down- stop playing around in the kitchen and do the job you are paid for while you are there. I was saddened by the behavior of the staff and the poor quality of service.

A fun local fast food joint that serves GREAT milkshakes and tasty burgers. Be careful about going during lunchtime because it can get crowded and if you are noise sensitive, it can be loud. Otherwise, it's a great place to grab lunch and our family has made it part of each trip to Asheville.
Kid-friendliness: A great place to bring the kids. Easygoing family friendly atmosphere.

Great little find for me and my best friend the other day for lunch! They serve 99 cent hot dogs everyday! I also got specialty hot dog and the menu has burgers as well. Hot dogs were great, service was good, it is a counter service as many places are in Asheville so not much to say about the quick interaction with the cashier. Definitely cute little spot and I will return again!

If you want classic Americana, this is it. I like the place, just can't give it a full five stars because it still uses mostly Sysco foods for their menu. Nothing is truly unique about it. Good dependable joint though

My wife and I have been eating here since it opened, which is about 11 years. The food is great, reasonably priced with prompt service.
2024 Sept 24 Today, my wife and I both had the $.99 hot dogs with a side order of 1/2 onion rings and 1/2 French Fries.

Parking: During peak hours, parking is a challenge. It's okay to use church parking lot which is across the street from the restaurant.

I love the nostalgia this place gives me and I’ve always got good food from them their baked potatoes are huge and always delicious even their chicken sandwich is delicious!! Definitely worth trying
