I just had a hot dog from there and, at best, it was a "5". Bun was kind of hard. Cole Slaw was OK, but not what I expected. I prefer an all-beef hot dog, vs pork, which I don't think one is offered at French Fries. I prefer French Fries, as I live close by, but the drive to Hendersonville, and Hot Dog World, and an all-beef frank is a solid '10". French Fries, fries, are better when you get them fresh, but that doesn't always happen. I would...

Surprisingly good overall. Cozy old-time atmosphere, the staff was friendly and the food was good for the price. I'd come back. The seasoning bar for the fries is a nice touch.

Read reviews and saw they had good ribeye streak sandwiches. Excited I was. Went to window without needing a menu and when I ordered my steak sandwich, the cashier stated they haven’t had steaks in 5 months. So got a cheese burger and fries which was average. Bummer.
