I found the house of breakfast 3 years ago and eat there very often as I travel here from Raleigh to get away from work I have fallen in love with their breakfast their service and their food it's out of this world Anna's always at the door making sure you get a good table and Angie always comes out with the food and make sure that it's cooked to order and made the way that you want it today we went there and the server had accidentally forgot to put cheese off of a order as Angie brought it out she realized that my friend did not want cheese and Angie immediately went back and recooked her eggs she's so sweet and always make sure that your food is cooked correctly and as a business owner in Raleigh North Carolina I appreciate the people that work there the quality of the service and especially my good friend Angie even though she likes the Steelers cuz she always takes care of us best darn cook in the South next to my mom..haha

Our family of 4 drove 30 minutes to eat at House of Breakfast as their menu looked great. When we arrived it wasn't crowded and they had a "Wait to be Seated" sign up. We stood there for 15 minutes, while 2 servers slowly walked around and looked at us multiple times. Neither server acknowledged us, said "hello" or made it known that they would be able to seat us anytime soon or help us. I doubt we will be back and my husband and I are upset we wasted our time driving out to a place that states the "restaurant is a cozy haven".

We arrived this Sunday, November 17th at 1:25 pm, which is 35 minutes prior to the posted hours they are supposed to close, and were told that the dining room was closed! This is unacceptably poor customer service.

This was our first visit to enjoy a full breakfast. First, we were seated and were greeted by flies. Looked around and the customers across from us were shooing flies as well. The coffee was lukewarm at best. We ordered 2 plates. On the platter, the pancakes were half done, doughy, and not fresh tasting. The home fries/hash browns were not hot at all. On the next plate was a veggie omelet. The broccoli was under cooked, tomatoes were overcooked and the melted cheese was clumped in the middle. Everything was just bland tasting. The flies were terrible and we did not enjoy our food!!! Our waitress was okay. A couple came in to the restaurant minutes after we did. The manager walked over to their table, greeted them and thanked them for coming in. Just don't understand why we weren't greeted by the manager as well...Humm? No worries, we have no plans to return nor would we recommend this place.

Fantastic customer service during a busy holiday weekend. It did take a little while to get seated but that was to be expected during Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you for being open and serving our family during the holiday rush.

If you want breakfast.. DONT come here. Coffee taste like Burt oil, eggs were cold, pancakes dry, “French toast” is deep fried ! Literally burnt, deep fried white bread. Not good at all. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
