Best Burger my husband and I have had in years! Definitely stop by if you are in the area. Great quality, fast service.

It would be 5 for the food but kind of robbed me on my potential cheese and the fried pickles were under.

I wasn’t going to leave a review but this was just stupidity. I ordered hot dogs. No where in my order was chili. I get home and both are covered in it. I got back up there finally after fighting through Sneads ferry summer traffic on a Friday afternoon and they remake them. I just got home AND THEY ARE WRONG AGAIN. Now they are doused in mustard THAT I DIDNT ORDER!!!!! How hard is it?
Always good food and great service :)

Hwy 55 is your classic, no-frills burger spot. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The food was okay—not amazing, but definitely affordable and decent for a quick bite. We have these back home in Raleigh, so it was familiar and predictable, which isn’t a bad thing.

The servers (two young ladies) we had were the saving grace for our experience here. Very friendly and prompt service.
The food is pretty bad, to the tune of a family of four with sour stomachs. The chicken “tenders” I’m not sure where or what part of the chicken they were from as the shapes were all very odd and not much meat just a lot of almost over done breading. The same goes for the two pieces of chicken I had on a sandwich.
Tots were ok, husband said burger was ok. Fried pickles lack any seasoning and kind of mushy.
The inside is at first glance what you’d expect with 50s style vibes, but upon closer look the walls, floors, and menus were covered in varying degrees of grime. Our kids were disappointed that they didn’t get their meals in the advertised classic car “boat” yet other tables did.
Overall wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning.

The service was great however the burger patties were bland and peppery. The consistency was of purchased pre-made patties. Will definitely not order the burgers again from this location.

Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes and Fries good eats and great service.
My go-to the build your own burger combo ($11) with pepper jack cheese, ketchup, mayo, chili, mushrooms, tomato, and lettuce with fries on the side. And the toppings is why I like Hwy 55 (or Andy's as I call it (the original chain name)).
Fyi, the tater tots are good as well, but they can have an onion taste likely because they are cooked in the same oil that cooks the onion rings.
I do miss when staff used to open the door for ya when u arrived. Feel free to bring that back ;)

I like 55 but the burgers could use a little more flavor.

First visit for my husband and me. Ordered chicken tenders and chicken Philly. Food came out super hot, big plus for me. Chicken tenders were meaty and tender, fries were good, chicken Philly average. Staff was attentive and seemed happy. Some of the furnishings need repair/updating. Only drawback for me was a dog someone had inside. (Not a service animal)
Great food and service
Rootbeer float is a must!
