They were out of half there menu items. Fries were limp and undercooked. The server didn't refill our drinks. By the looks of the place this establishment is in its last days and needs a serious makeover.

I ordered the Lil Cheesesteak. Someone literally broke the end off the bun and did not cut it. It looks like it was bitten off. I cannot eat this. I threw it away.

Take out ordered for the Andy size cheesesteak & fry - We were charged for it. Got home had a baby size fry & regular cheesesteak. Called & they said they’d replace it. Called today for the replacement and was told they’d couldn’t replace it nor could they refund me the difference in what I received & paid for. NO, I would not recommend. We try to support local, but this establishment, Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries will be off our list!!

Food is overcooked and overpriced. The app was convenient, but they ended on line ordering the minute I started using the reward system they had in place. So much for loyalty to a business.
Food was way too greasy. The staff was loud and talking about personal issues and that they hate working their shifts very loudly. The restaurant was pretty gross. We left without eating our food.

I’m pretty sure this HWY 55 is notably bad bc the kitchen staff or management is smoking weed in there. Smell was strong when we arrived with our large group. Guy who looked like maybe the manager disappeared when we came in and left the ONE waitress to do it all. She worked her ever loving tail off and made our experience great even if the food was mid. She put tables together for us, kept 6 different tickets totally straight, kept up with drinks, and then added shakes ALL after badly slicing her finger. If she is not in charge, she should be and she should be making a LOT more than I am guessing she does. Not one other employee helped her. Kitchen guys just stood around (vaping the weed maybe??) and watched her bust her tail. Nobody even filled drinks for her. The one other waitress we saw literally just stood next to the drive up window the whole time with NO customers driving through. Nothing. I don’t even care how the food was- one lady in there is smart, fast, and cares. Kudos to you sister. Your coworkers suck.

I don't put stuff like this publicly but got to. DON'T EVER GO TO THE HWY 55 IN SNOW HILL NC. it the worst HWY 55 I ever been to. The hotdog buns were not hot and the hotdogs were not good at all. The lemonade and orangeade was waterade. Don't let me forget that I had to pay $.75 for hot sauce to go on my fries but ketchup is free. What the heck!!! You can only get military discount if you sit in and eat what kind of mess is that. I told the waitress I see why yall don't have no customers!!! I take off my hat to Goldsboro Hwy 55. You are the best!!! Keep up the good work!!! I told them this my first and last time coming here!!!
