In Southern Pines for an equestrian event and we took one of the competitors to dinner as she highly recommended you. She was right! Lovely little restaurant in the main part of town, just off the main street. Cute decor and comfortable seating. Dinner was lovely. We had deviled eggs and fried artichokes for an app - droolworthy. Dinner was fabulous. I had a pork shank and my two friends had Duck and Pasta, both also delicious. Nice wine selection and quick service. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We had a delicious meal at Ashten’s. We started with the artichoke pops and the pickle & hummus plate. It was the best hummus any of us had ever tasted. For mains, we ordered the duck, rigatoni, and burger. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake and sipped on some port. Our server, Madison, was very impressive & knowledgeable. We dined outdoors and enjoyed the cozy blankets provided.

We had an awful experience for our first visit to Ashtens. After hearing so many glowing reviews from other people we were so disappointed for many reasons. No seating inside at 8pm available unless a 40 minute wait We had to sit outside in the cold with no heated fire lamps They booked a special event so we had to wait 2 hours ! 2 hours!!! To get our dinner ! Nothing was comped or offered on the house (drinks, etc) After waiting 2 hours for a hot meal, I was sadly disappointed with how salty my dinner was. It was as salty as the ocean. $200 later we paid and left. We were so so very disappointed in our whole experience

First time eating at Ashten's. They opened exactly in time and escorted us to our table quickly after arriving. We were seated on the first floor where there were a few tables. Very quiet with no distractions. We both had the Roasted Pepper and Fennel Bisque. Absolutely a must have if it is on the menu. I had the Duck and my wife had the NY Strip cooled medium. Perfect temperature and already cut when it was brought to our table. Staff was attentive and we enjoyed ourselves. We ill definitely be back. Great place!

We went here because a friend suggested it. That friend is NOT getting a Christmas card this year. The burger was like eating modeling clay. The waitress forgot us. The table was too crowded and against a wall. It's right spaces in there. The deviled eggs are to die for.

Great service and excellent food. We really enjoyed our dinner at Ashton's. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Everything we ordered was well prepared and flavorful. It's clear they take pride in both the food and the experience. I would definitely recommend making reservations, as it seems to be a very popular spot. We'll absolutely be back.

Everyone was very accommodating. Jenny was our server and she was very helpful. Food was good. I had the lamb and Anne had the flounder. Portions were plentiful. We definitely will be back.
