Highly recommend. The new owners (Amy) have made as comfortable and inviting as it was before. We will be back!

It was a beautiful evening so we sat at one of the two cozy patio tables complete with lovely lighting and comfy lap shawls. We were able to enjoy it all to ourselves as we were late diners (after 8) and almost everyone who exited commented on the brilliance of that seating. Service was timely, informed, and charming. If you knew me, you would know I rarely order anything as it is stated on a menu. I also always have pointers for improvement. We ordered the kangaroo bites, lobster rangoon, grilled octopus, and escargot for starters. My husband had the delicious mango mojito and I enjoyed the refreshing Stockholm 75 as well as a decent Reisling with our main. For entrees, he chose the perfectly cooked duck breast and foie gras sausage while I had the mushroom and spinach gnocchi in a savory cream sauce. I didn't change a single ingredient from our menu choices and I legit could not come up with so much as a teeny critique. Every item was cooked to perfection. We finished off the meal with creme brulee, an espresso and a French press (at the table) coffee. Special shout out to our main server Michelle and the incredibly friendly, young support staff. EVERYthing was PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend whether its, date night, a celebration, or just because you are craving an excellent, fresh, notable meal. All the stars.

Our server was truly outstanding. She was exceedingly attentive but not overly intrusive. Just exactly the right combination of service and privacy.

Our first time dining at this hidden gem in beautiful downtown Southern Pines. What a special time! The evening was a delightful experience as the new owners Amy and Ray, worked seamlessly with the retiring owners in a very smooth and orchestrated handoff without a missed beat! The food was excellent, club like pours from the bar, great wine list by the glass and bottle, with a staff that were professional and attentive. The crowd of both locals and visitors seemed to melt together! The "vibe" was one of southern hospitality and cool. A delightful relaxed evening that we'll remember. A must dining experience in the Pinehurst/ Southern Pines area. Bill & Terri Rupp

Very attentive but not overly so service. Food was excellent including soup special and entrees. Place was small but tables are spaced far enough apart. Will definitely return.

The food was fantastic. The duck is the best item on the menu, hands down. The new owners are very nice, and the overall ambience of the restaurant is better than before.

Upscale dining with a cozy feel. Exotic menu choices that are seasonal, there was kangaroo on the menu. The potato soup was the best I have ever eaten. Espresso martini had real espresso coffee, would go back to just have one of those.

Chef Warren's is our go-to spot for anything special our family celebrates. Great customer service, food and drinks, as always!

Food iis normally exceptional but this time was not. Shrimp was tough and some chicken under cooked. One person had an emergency before her food arrived and we were forced to pay for her mea and drink. Service was extremely slow and there were plenty of servers and not excessively busy on a Tuesday night. Very disappointing.

The hoppin' John and French onion soups were very good as was the spinach and beet salad. The shrimp entree and the kangaroo appetizer were a little lackluster. The kir Royale was superb.

My experience there was outstanding from beginning to end. The cocktails stood out as thoughtfully made, with creative combinations and perfect balance that set a high tone right away. The menu draws on international influences while emphasizing seasonal, quality ingredients, and the results speak for themselves. The kangaroo, wrapped in prosciutto, proved delightful. It was tender and subtly flavorful, offering a lean, distinctive taste that felt refined rather than overpowering. Certainly it was handled with clear expertise. The swordfish main course arrived cooked exactly right: moist and flaky inside, with spot-on seasoning and thoughtful accompaniments that brought everything together beautifully. Service matched the food in excellence. The staff proved attentive and knowledgeable, with a warmth that made the visit feel personal. They clearly aimed to exceed expectations, and they succeeded. Desserts provided a fitting close, rich and satisfying without excess. Since relocating to the Carolinas more than a year ago, I have not encountered a better meal. Chef Warren's impresses through meticulous execution, sincere hospitality, and consistent depth of flavor across cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and sweets. For anyone in the Southern Pines area, it deserves a visit. It stands among the region's finest.

Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Would definitely come back. The duck and foie gras sausage and pecan pie were awesome.
