A group of friends decided to have a friendly get together and watch the NFL Playoffs and just have a good time. Well what is football without wings? So, I ordered the largest party platter of wings from the Southern Pines Chilis. To make sure they had plenty of time to prepare the order, I placed it at around 9:30AM for a pick up time of 2:30PM. I received the email and text confirmations from Chilis thanking me for my order and letting me know that they would send me a follow up message when the order was ready. At around 2:35PM I had not yet received anything that my order was ready and we were on our way to pick the order up. Called the restaurant and the female on the phone was very rude like she was being bothered from the start. I informed her of my order and she stated that she did not have it. I told her about the email and text confirmations and she stated that she does not send those out and she does not have my order and suggested that I had placed it at another Chilis. I gave her the address and she told me to hold on. Still very unfriendly. I am guessing the next person to answer was a Manager. He asked did I order Bone In wings of which I answered yes. He then stated that the company had a total nationwide recall of them and they did not have any. I asked why wouldn’t they inform me about this once I paid and submitted my order of which he had no answer. Very unprofessional and unfriendly service. I get orders of Party Platters from here often or at least I use to get them. Not anymore. Then I received an email after all of this trying to say they did not receive my order and there was a technical issue. That is a terrible way to run a business. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place because they don’t seem like they care about their customers.

2nd time in a row I’ve ordered the quesadilla explosion salad and 2nd time it’s missing the damn quesadillas. (Door dashed so wasn’t able to check the food myself). NOT door dash’s problem. This is a Chilis problem.

The service was the best part of this visit. They were out of several menu items. I ordered chicken crispy's and they were so tough I couldn't tear it with a fork!! I tried pulling it apart with my hand & couldn't. I had to use a knife! When I tried to eat it, I just couldn't. It had a nice flavor but the texture wasn't right, like it wasn't real chicken, idk. Our waitress brought us some more out but they were the same way. I def will not be getting their chicken again, IF I go back. They could & should do better!!
