I don’t know how it’s possible to wait for 20+ minutes for a meal and then see that everything is wrong. I ordered a three-strip snack and some sauces and didn’t receive it. Then the sprite was terrible, tasting only of carbonation. I chose to be nice and just leave without giving anyone a hard time but spending $24 on lunch for me and my friends and not getting anything right is quite frustrating.

This place is horrible, ordered a chicken nugget plate, 2 burgers and a 5 piece nuggets. The cashier was rude. My nuggets was hard and burnt, looks like it was fried in old grease, too it back the lady at the front walk up window was vapping and the food still wasn’t done right, I was still missing one of my 5 piece nuggets. This place is horrible. My daughter is sick to her stomach and couldn’t eat the food.

I work in the food industry so I don’t like being negative towards workers because 9 times out of 10 I get it, we come here all the time and occasionally something will be wrong but again I get it, but it’s gotten a lot worse. We just ordered 4 quesadillas, 2 chicken 2 cheese and all 4 were very cold, the cheese was not at all meted and hard, couldn’t eat them, chicken was cold. Misunderstanding or forgetting something is fine here and there but straight up not cooking 4 quesadillas is wild.

Went to the drive thru when there was only 2 cars..... Employee on the speaker was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Waited over 5 mins for someone to come on the speaker to take our order and then just drove away to go eat at a place that actually values it's customer. Won't be back

My husband , son and I enjoy really enjoy eating at the Southern Pines Cookout. The food is always fresh , hot and delicious. Everyone that takes our order to the ones who prepare the order are extra nice and efficient. Tomatoes always good no matter the time of year. My husband loves the ranch chicken wrap. Nice to have a convenient place to pull in and eat and relax. Often we see the lady that delivers the necessary supplies to that Cookout. Her name is Letita Stukes( not sure about spelling). She is honestly one of the hardest working efficient people I have ever met. She is a little lady but boy can she handle that big truck. Enjoy seeing her when we happen to be there when she comes pulling in( which is often ?). Really appreciate the folks at the Southern Pines Cookout.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’m pregnant and pretty pissed at this point. I literally consumed all my tea just to notice something black at the top of my cup. When I opened it there’s a soaking wet dead fly stuck to the inside of my cup. I’m beyond disgusted and not happy with this nor the fact I was literally throwing up for 15 mins after discovering this!!! How could someone not see this upon placing a lid on the cup. This is NOT OKA!!

Visited on a SUPER busy holiday and everyone was super friendly and working efficiently. Food was delicious, sweet tea is amazing! Super tasty hush puppies, shakes, onion rings, and sandwiches.
