The food is outstanding and Venus is the best waitress that place has ever had. We don't want anyone but her. Before my stepdad passed,we would eat here every Wednesday and Venus is the only server he wanted and we continue that to this day.

The food we received was salty. However, the service we received was outstanding and our server should be acknowledge.

Great service with Venus in the Southern Pines,NC location today. She was prompt and very attentive to our table while also attending 4 other tables. She was genuinely pleasant and gave great recommendations for meals. My child tried the steak and egg bowl and she was very pleased. My mom tried the steak tips and hash browns and was also pleased. I took the recommendation of the Nashville hot biscuit and it was great. Great experience for the entire table!

We went for breakfast, had to ask for our waitress to only take our drink order. Then we had to ask for biscuits, they came out with no jelly or butter. We had to ask for a refill on our coffee. It wasn’t very busy at all and our waitress had a terrible attitude. Dropped our food off and never came back to the table. We had to stop random people walking by us to get the things we needed.
We will not be back.

Great service and the food was exceptional today.

The service was terrible. You spend your hard earned money to get teaspoon of food that you stood around for thirty minutes. The staff treated me like I was bothering them. There attitudes wasn't professional. I will not be doing anymore business with this establishment.

Took approximately 10 minutes to get waited on after getting menus. Order meatloaf, loaded baked potato, and side salad. Took approximately another 10 minutes to bring salads out. After we finished our salads, we were informed they were out of meatloaf. Asked what we would like to have instead. We asked for the country fried steak. Didn't receive our meal until we were there for a total of 45 minutes from the time we walked in the dining area. Received our meal which consisted of the country fried steak and loaded baked potato. Baked potato tasted as if it was microwaved. Wasn't accompanied by sour cream or butter. The steak was that impressive either. Talk to manager about the delay of letting us know about the meatloaf. Asked if we would like dessert. I said no. What about taking off the premium sides. He said he could do something to the sort. Received receipt. Only took off $2.25 per meal on the sides. For a $30 plus meal, it wasn't worth it.

Dined with 3 others today. Food was great but service was amazing. Moesha was our server and took special time to see everything was perfect. Love this location for our semi annual meeting place.

Food cold and over cooke

Service was great, and Frank the manager stopped by the table and made sure we were enjoying everything!

Gave Cracker Barrel one more try, server was sweet and did her best. We noticed there were no napkins in the silverware pack as usual, we had to ask for a napkin, server said because corporate thinks customers waste napkins! Country carrots were just cooked baby carrots not sweet anymore and the normally delicious broccoli was cooked with out salt- bland, mashed potatoes almost mashed and seemed to be the scrapings from the bottom of the pan were barely warm. Food took a long time and was lukewarm warm. I don't think CB is going to last very long if they are being stingy with napkins, and cutting out the "country cooking".
