Good bbq

Brisket was full of fat, I ordered 1/2lb. I put it in a Tupperware container and refrigerated and a layer of grease settled on the bottom . The quality of meat is poor and it’s full of fat. I will never go back.

Great customer service, quick, friendly, and food was hot and good. Quiet space also.
Brisket was so dry , fountain drinks tasted terrible, it wasn't worth the price that I paid, would have rather went to McDonald's and ate.
This place has gone downhill and it shows as there have been few people there our past few visits. When I first visited Pinehurst 2 years ago the BBQ sandwiches were moist and meaty. The past few times (we tried!). The food was dry and the portions small. Plenty of much better BBQ places around like Embers and Pik-N-Pig.

Every time we order take out from this location they mess up or forget part of the order. You can never get an answer on the phone. Their food is good but service is horrible!

If you're looking for decent Barbecue North of the Red River this is the place to go. The brisket is better than anything else you're going to find here in Moore County, and the jalapeno cheddar sausage is off the chain good!

Went in, first time ever, probably last. There was no foot traffic or cars outside, so was curious even open. Went in and greeted immediately where I asked if they were open, she said yes but was slow. Cool, no biggie. Ordered food for me, my wife, and son, came up to $68 then tipped 15%. So we are talking texas roadhouse and outback prices. Food should be great, WRONG. I got a tiny sliver of brisket and little piece of turkey for the 2 meat plate, I was mindblown, my son got the same thing, (mime and his plates pictured) same portion. My wife barely ate hers (pulled pork) because it was not good at all. The mac n cheese was good but tasted like hours old and cold, the baked beans can't hold a candle to Bush's you get from a can, green beans tasted out of a can. Food was below subpar at best best. The only saving grace was the staff. The black girl with glasses was an absolute sweet heart and so was her co worker, but she stood out tremendously, which is why I didn't say anything, I didn't want to ruin her day knowing it was slow and she probably wasn't making alot with tips. But my biggest gripe is portion size for the price. You pay that kind of money, you should walk out full....I went home and ate a PB&J.

I was visiting family in the Pinehurst area and needed to feed about 10 people so what better way to satisfy broad tastes among the group than picking up a smorgasbord of BBQ. Enter Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. Because it was a last minute decision I didn’t have the opportunity to call in my order. I opted to walk in, order and wait. I choose a pre planned package that was supposed to feed 10 people and the price was commensurate with the amount of food promised. Bottom line, the meat was good in both taste and amount however the sides were lacking. The sides were good but they were definitely not enough to feed 10 adults. I’ll definitely patronize this restaurant again but I recommend that they up their game on the side dishes portions. Side dishes are the least expensive way to keep customers happy and coming back.

The brisket still has too much collagen in it and needs to cook longer but the flavor and smoke is a good mixture. It was dry and it came from the point so maybe it was old but i came at 1:30 maybe a bad time
Mac and cheese is worse than out of the box stuff please throw it away. Green beans were good hard to mess that up.
The turkey was decent just seemed like i came at a bad time. The pulled pork has good flavor. And the sauce was not spicy at all maybe i should have got the sweet. Overall i gave it a 5 star because im not a hater but maybe it was the chef

This restaurant has definitely won me over again. For the first time in a long time the food was absolutely delicious. The beef brisket was on point. Baked beans and coleslaw were like they were supposed to be, not runny. Ice cream was good. Only thing that was not right, I thought the tea was sweet but was unsweet. But I could have got it from the wrong urn. Great service from the gentlemen working. Keep it up and I'll be back. Thank you!!

In the same order of ribs, most were quite good, but three of them were terrible. Had we dined in, I would have asked them to replace those three. The pulled pork and all sides were very good

DO STOP HERE. We ate there and got the 35.00 deal. It SUCKED !!! Brisket tough, little macaroni cup wasn't even full. Told the Mgr. she was hateful about it. The 2 women working that day were not friendly when we first walked in or any other time. Never hardly acknowledge us, never said HELLO the first time. Paid 45.00 for that VERY SORRY meal. But I'll never stop there again..
