We love Island Jerk Cuisine. We needed an authentic Island inspired restaurant in Moore County. The Jerk chicken is the best! The owners are friendly and make you feel at home.

Great Caribbean food at a reasonable price. I ordered the j*** chicken plate with rice and peas and cabbage. The chicken had just the right amount of spice and good bit of smoke. The sides were nothing to write home about, but still good. Worth a stop!

This place!!!!!!!!!! THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE ARE SO NICE!!!!!I love this place so much. I just wish that it was closer so that I could go there more often. The j*** chicken was great. The Mac and cheese was better than I thought it would be. The beef patties were AMAZING!!!! The ox tail was sweet? Which was odd. It wasn't sweet the other times I had it. It was crazy tender though. The curry chicken was ok. Wasn't spicy like the other times I had it. Next time I'm trying the j*** pork.

Food was delicious, I ordered homemade ginger beer & sorrel omg, it’s the best. We order lunch and dinner. Unexpected large portions. Food taste better when it’s cooked with love. I give it 5 stars. I love the culture & food and since relocating I finally found the flavor I’d been craving. My friend Tyrone Pipkin highly recommended this spot. Now I will highly recommend.

Food was great. People were very friendly treat you like they have known you for years. Their mild is still little spicy but its managable. Well worth trying prices are resonable. Comes with plenty of food.

I don't really leave reviews but this place deserves one. I was VERY impressed with their super flavorful food and impeccable service. We had oxtail, j*** chicken, and curry shrimp. All of them were amazing. The owner is super kind and is easy to talk to. This place will give you a smile and a very full belly!

Hidden gem!!!!!Amazing place to taste some soulful Jamaican food. Went there for lunch and ordered their Jamaican J*** chicken with curry and Goat curry set. The curry packs a punch and is balanced in spices, the meats are cooked to the right level. This is a family run business and they made us feel comfortable and notched up a conversation too. Their dedication to their restaurant shows in the tasteful cooking and affable customer service.

This food is bomb. Whenever I’m in Carthage usually for work I make sure I stop by. I don’t even care it’s a drive. The oxtail tender, juicy and that gravy authentic and flavorful. The cabbage, rice and peas fire. I’ve ordered the curry goat and the j*** chicken with the oxtails. Delicious!! The quantity is great also. Not to mention customer service is always friendly, owner is always smiling and remembers his customers. I mean this is island food and feeling in NC. If you’re thinking about coming and haven’t yet. Don’t cheat yourself treat yourself.

A must try for real authentic Caribbean cuisine! My wife and I tried the j*** chicken and pork and the oxtails, with rice and peas and cabbage, and our 2 kids got the beef patties. The entrées came with a few fried plantains and we also ordered a side of plantains because they were so good. We also ordered 2 giant peices of coco bread, which dipped in the gravy was so good! Highly recommend this place!!!

These guys are awesome. Scheduled a pickup meal for 16. Could have fed 25! And was super great food

Came In From Out Of Town. Maybe I Could Move Next Door Because The Food Is Off The Chain. Meaning It's Beyond Good. The People Where Really Nice And It Looks Like A Great Place To Dine In If It Wasnt During Covid. Very Clean Place. Food Was Cooked When That Day.
