Kickback Jack's Southern Pines

Asked for a dry rub lemon pepper wings. They brought grilled wings out twice today. I’m not a cook to clearly explain the difference but definitely should be taken care of.

The food was good although we had to wait 55 minutes for our food. Then the waitress caught an attitude because I asked her for some napkins. I like kickback Jack's but they was off today!

The waiter was good and did her job. The food was cold and nasty it tasted burnt. My tea tasted like water it wasn't sweet. The only thing that was good was the Philly steak and cheese egg rolls. They remade it but it still want good.

We were in Rockingham for a drag race and stopped by here for dinner. We had a large group, and our servers were wonderful. Many different dishes were had, and they were all good. Will definitely return.

It's what you'd expect from such an establishment, nothing special.

For a sports bar, this is a great restaurant to go and enjoy drinks and food while watching sports or hanging out with friends and family. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked just right along with perfectly lightly salted French fries. The front reception area was a little chaotic, with lots of staff hanging out.

We stopped by Kickback Jack’s for the first time, and what an incredible experience it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere. The place has a lively yet relaxed vibe, with plenty of room to accommodate guests comfortably. What stood out right away was the fully staffed team—something that seems rare these days. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile, making us feel valued and appreciated as soon as we stepped inside.

As we looked over the menu, we were thrilled by the wide variety of options, particularly the selection of wings. I decided to try a dry rub version that was oven-baked and paired with a flavorful spicy sauce. Let me just say—wow! The wings were perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and bursting with bold flavors. They were hands down some of the best wings I’ve ever had. To complement the meal, I also tried a chicken sandwich topped with crispy bacon, and it was equally outstanding. Each bite was a testament to the quality of the food here.

However, what truly made the night special was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They weren’t just attentive—they were genuinely engaging, making sure we had everything we needed and going above and beyond to ensure our evening was enjoyable. Fries are no good, water is very chlorinated, but mixed drinks are okay, and if you like sports, they have a ton of tvs with games on at all times.

My visit was terrible. I got the ribs with fries. My ribs and fries were burnt. Ribs was tough and dry. The manager wouldn't do nothing about it cause i started eating it. Wont be going back!!!! If i could give it zero stars i would!!!!

We held a dinner for our 89' HS class reunion last night. KBJs does not accept reservations, however, they will work with you on parties of 20 or more. The lead, Alice, and wait staff were accommodating & so attentive! Even as busy as the location was (Saturday night between Christmas and New Years) Our group had a wonderful time. Thank YOU for a wonderful night!
