Rooted Restaurant & Bar

I have eaten there many times and have ordered take out as well. There is no other fully vegan option in our area. It's so nice to be able to eat anything on the menu.

Three weeks ago while visiting with family in southern pines I googled vegaterian restaurants and after eating here I would recommend this place to everyone. Clean, Fresh,Goodness!

PHENOMENAL PLACE, FOOD AND SERVICE!Owner MacKenzie was Extremely helpful. Our waitress was Excellent. Thank you, new weekly date place.

Vegetarian options: Vegan options are Fantastic. Very tasty.

Dietary restrictions: We are now trying vegan. This was just such a Fantastic experience.

The food is very good

Owner & staff were very pleasant & attentive as soon as I walked in the door. Very clean and smelled so good. A candle was lit that I wanted to buy. Great waiting area. Had take out, a panini sandwich w/chips & dip & a Mango drink,,,fresh & delicious. Their presentation right down to the packaging was on!Wish I had time to eat in. I want to go back and eat outside looks like a fun chilled atmosphere with live music.✌?❣️?

I went here for the first time today and enjoyed it! I had the nachos and they were sooooo good! (Also much larger than I thought they’d be!) The black beans on the nachos were seasoned very well! I also had a smoothie and it was also good. Mya was my server and was very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be back for those nachos and to try a juice! Even if you’re not a vegan or vegetarian you should give them a try!

This is one of my favorite places in Southern Pines. The new location is tucked away in a beautiful courtyard downtown. The owner and staff are great. If you have any questions about the menu, being that it is plant-based, they are there to guide you through it. And the food is WONDERFUL! Make sure to try the Buffalo “chicken” nuggets!

Recently rooted moved locations and added multiple new recipes to their menu. The new kitchen staff at the new location are well trained and professional. The food and business has gotten a MAJOR upgrade. It's also a family/ woman owned business. Rooted is exactly what southern pines needs!

I was really excited to find this vegan cafe during my first weekend stay in Southern Pines. I had dinner there and breakfast the next day. Both delicious and healthy! I would have eaten there again but my son wanted to try something else.

Great cupcakes. Non-existent coffee.Menu clearly says “espresso” in the drinks section, however the store doesn’t have espresso. It broke my brain.

I am not under any specific diet restrictions but this food is GOOD! I am obsessed with the pesto avo panini, and any chance I get to swing by and get the cupcake of the day I do! I never thought vegan food could be so good. I also got the chance to partake in their friends-giving last year and while everything was plant based it was so good and being surrounded by the sweet and kind people at Rooted made it even better. You can really tell they care about the quality but also educating others!

Had the roasted grain,veggie, chickpea bowl.Tasted great...a little pricey in comparison to others I've reviewed but taste was Amazing.
