What a restaurant. Had a great dining experience. Good food specially my favorite masala dosa with authentic chutney and sambar. And the punju chholey bhature just great not missing India. Topped by the warm and ever smiling staff. The owner / family specially visited our table and ensured all was okay. Would love to visit and try other dishes. Keep it up!

We were very disappointed by owner’s daughter’s misbehavior and rudeness and lack of her respect to customers.

I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was, but I'm a dosa girly and was also pleasantly surprised by the chaat options. While I wouldn't call this the best Indian food in my vicinity (that would be in Cary), it's certainly very good and I would happily go back and recommend it to friends!

Do not judge this book by its cover. Yes, it’s a little strange to find an exquisite Indian restaurant inside a tiny hotel just off the highway, but that’s what this is. My family and I went to Royal Taj for the first time tonight, and everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Food was really good. I liked that they had vegetarian and vegan options. Servers were super nice. Don’t let the location let you think it’s isn’t good quality. There was some wait, but not too bad. You have to go around when you see the sign at the Days Inn to get to the entrance where the restaurant is through the lobby.

My husband and I recently tried it for the first time, and we’re already planning our next visit — honestly, we’re 500% coming back! I had the chicken tikka masala and it was absolutely incredible — rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. My husband ordered the chicken korma, and it was just as amazing — creamy, aromatic, and full of delicious, tender chicken. Every bite was pure perfection.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering Indian food, Royal Taj needs to be on your list. We are officially obsessed!

Don't let the location fool you, this restaurant makes top-notch indian food. The atmosphere of the sitting area was great with a nice bar as well. I came here for a late-night meal and was served a nearly overflowing dish of delcious lamb tikka massala. The sauce was great, and the garlic naan perfectly complemented the meal.

10/10, would stop here again and stuff my face.

This is the best Indian food my boyfriend and I have ever had. We came for his birthday and the service was amazing. Our server James was very knowledgeable about the menu items and was very helpful. He even brought us a free dessert for the birthday which was delicious. The chicken 65 appetizer is a must. Delicious!

James was our host and he was awesome! He really catered to us in every way from explaining the dishes to making us a sweet treat drink made of yogurt and puréed mango! The atmosphere was very calm, cozy and relaxing. The food was phenomenal, aromatic and fresh. The naan is to die for! Will definitely be going back!

I had the chicken madrasi and ordered it spicy. It was delicious! Nice whole clove and fenugreek seeds, red chili peppers, juicy chicken, and a filling and flavorful curry. I'll be back. The chef takes pride in his cooking!

Our waiter was extremely kind and the restaurant was very cozy regardless of it being inside of the hotel! Food was absolutely amazing too!
