Worst meal we had after frequently often, at least monthly. Fish was smelly. For $52 special, will never do that again. And zero service recovery even though the manager showed up halfway into the meal. They also charged $4 for cranberry splash in double Tito's. Not coming here again!

Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The handcrafted drinks were amazing. Our server was excellent and very prompt. All in all an outstanding experience!

My last two visits despite a request for a quiet booth because of hearing issues was totally ignored. While the food is good, the cooking staff cannot or will not cook my steak to order. It will be a while before I return to this restaurant.,

In town on a golf trip and my Son and I ate dinner here. We split the wedge salad. It came diced and tossed. Had a good flavor and the split was the perfect amount of Salad. My Son had the Filet, it was a little more Rare than his normal preference, but the texture was good for as red as it was with a good sear. I had the Tomahawk pork chop. It was cooked perfectly and was a great choice. Each came with Asparagus, they were very slender/small stalks of asparagus. Over cooked since so small and not much flavor. The Potatoes were good. Would eat here again on our next trip. Pricing reasonable for a steak house

Southern Prime used to be a great experience. This past one was terribly disappointing. Everything started well enough, but it quickly declined when our order was overcooked, it was corrected- but our server then disappeared. The manager was aware, the apology was nice. The drinks and specials were underwhelming for the amount of direct marketing that drew us in for the occasion. The noise level was too much. It was overall not the expected for SP.

Very nice restaurant. My wife and I enjoyed the ambience. It is the perfect place for a nice date. I would definitely go again. The steak was cooked perfect but didn't have a ton of flavor.

Excellent steak & service. There is a lot of hype about the lobster rangoons, but I would not order again. Ours were golden in the outside appearance but cold in the middle. We would choose a different appetizer. We can't say enough about the steak though... perfect temperature, served with loaded mashed potatoes. Always a stop when we are in SPines.

The table service was very good,however the overall experience was hampered by not receiving our food while others who ordered after us received theirs, the amount of crab in the crab oscar was minimal and the vegetables served with the meal were cold/borderline frozen. Mgmt. did reduce our bill but unfortunately that didn't make up for the poor kitchen service for an anniversary dinner.

We went to dinner for my husband‘s birthday. The whole experience was awesome. Our waiter. Van was the most knowledgeable waiter that we've ever had there. He had a great personality and we just had a great time interacting with him. The food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere and the service it was over the top!

The food is always outstanding here. However, our server had a lot to be desired. Didn't offer the special menu and when we asked, she spoke so softly you could not hear her. She rarely checked on us. We ran out of water and drinks. For such an upgraded restaurant, would expect the staff to be more attentive.

Southern Prime is a special place for us. It never disappoints! Food and wait staff are top notch.

Our food and service was great, as usual. My one complaint was how close the tables are together, mainly because wait staff was trying to squeeze thru the chairs all night instead of walking around to the main (wider) aisle. By squeeze, I mean they had to turn sideways to get thru. Very disruptive and annoying. When the table on one side of us left, they did move that table over and further away, which helped.

We were treated like royalty! It was our first time. Wife's birthday. Courtney was our server. She was great! On it with the refills! Food was fantastic. Several people thanked us for spending our celebration with them. Complimentary photo and dessert. We'll be back. Thanks for a special evening!

Southern Prime continues to be our go-to spot for steaks and wine in the PInehurst area. Fun crowd, great service.

My wife and I had a great night at Southern Prime Steakhouse. The atmosphere was warm and upscale without feeling too formal — perfect for a date night. My steak and her Lobster were both cooked perfectly , and the sides and drinks were just as good. Service was friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We left full and happy. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.
