Southern Prime Steakhouse

The dinning location, in the wine room with only three tables, was cozy-but-noisy. Service and food excellent. Next visit will be in one of the larger dining rooms.

By far the best steak we ever had in our lives. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 24th anniversary, it has a romantic atmosphere with the candle light & table decor we were also treated to a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Service was excellent & very pleasant. We will be back.

Probably the best experience we have ever had at Southern Prime. Food was OUTSTANDING. Server and host were personable and quick. We had a last minute reservation for my sons birthday as our original plan didn't work out. Was thankfully able to get four people in at a reasonable hour. Drinks were great and prepared quickly. Kids loved it. Thank you!

It would be hard to imagine a better outcome, food, and service. Our server, Van, was an exceptional ambassador for the restaurant. The food was exceptional, and the ambience was way above par. 

Seafood is excellent. Little Alex at the front desk needs to be sent to a Hospitality Customer Service Class. An arrogant and condescending little man to guests, when they tried to seat 6 adults in a booth for 4. We got to an adult who helped us with approprate seating.

Was such a pleasant dining experience. Impeccable service. My filet was the tenderest filet I've ever had. A little more medium than medium rare but still so delicious! My lobster tail was perfect. Such a beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and lovely decor.

We dine here every couple of months and lasts night exception have always enjoyed our visits. We both had a drink at the bar and then was shown out table. Issue 1) So the booth was in a alcove just outside the kitchen. So you can imagine the constant traffic we had to endure. Issue 2) Entrees took an inordinate time to arrive. 3)My wife ordered baked potato with the large fillet and I ordered mixed vegetables with my strip. They were not plated properly with potato on my plate and vegetables on hers. Not a huge issue however potato was only 1/2-3/4 cooked. Pointed this out to server and she said a potato would be 20 min and instead brought order of mashed potatoes. 4) Manager came around to check and we conveyed issue (laughingly) with potato. He apologized and left and after that our waitress pretty mush disappeared! 5) A large group with athletic shorts, tee shirts and ball caps(which were not removed) were seated. They seemed like nice guys but where the heck is the clothing standard! Look our steaks were great and we like the place but have to tell you we were pretty disappointed.

Don’t waste your time. We’ve been here before and it’s been ok but overpriced. Tonight, we sat at the bar for 15 minutes without being offered a drink. We wait another 10 minutes and another bartender says “did we get your drinks”. I tell her we ordered and never got them, so goes to start them. We eventually get our very easy drinks and then 10 minutes later get to QUICKLY order. Waited for our salads for 20 minutes to receive them with no dressing. Sat with the salads a good bit then we were asked “what dressing” by the bartender which we had listed when we ordered. We told her and see her later ask the other bartender to grab a ranch and blue cheese from in back to which she says “I’m still working on mikes drinks”. So neither of them go get the dressing. Wait another 15 minutes and decide we’re not going to eat them and set them across the bar. We then wait a little while longer for our meals (with empty glasses) and decide we’re leaving. We let the bartender know we want to cancel the food and pay for our drinks and she says “this happens a lot. you know what, I never put your drinks in”….we know, cuz after we ordered we never saw them. An hour and one glass of wine and 2 beers later….we stroll down the street to offer our patronage to another local business. This will unfortunately be the last time.

The service is horrible. It took two hours to get our food. We could not get drinks. We had to go to the bar ourselves. Our server was too busy flirting with other tables. The manager Angie did nothing to help after we asked for help. She made snide jokes and never came back. When the food finally arrived it was cooked wrong and some received wrong sides. Some never got their food. We recommend to avoid this place at all costs. Plenty of other restaurants that actually care about providing a good experience.

Great food and good time! We had a reservation. We celebrated a birthday and they were very accommodating and kind. Even put little happy birthday confetti on the table. Price depends on what you order but it is high end dining. Good experience will dine again.

I’ve eaten here a few times, the service was good and the establishment was clean, quiet, and spacious. My only complaint is that for the price I would like more seasoning on the food and a slightly larger portion size.

The food was on point and perfect. The service left a lot to be desired. We were seated very quickly and the waiter took our drink order. Only one drink mind you. A simple makers mark bourbon with two ice cubes. 15 minutes later another waiter brings it and says “well there were two ice cubes in there they must have melted.” Who in their right mind does that. Admits that they noticed the drink sitting there and didn't bring it and when they did they don't fix the problem they just comment like oh well. Then our waiter forgets to bring out the bread basket so a passing by server gives us hers. Our server was a young man and it appeared he may have been new or just was not well trained or talented at his profession. Of note the table next to us was seated after us and received drinks and their hors-d-ouvres before my drink was delivered. So they do have efficient staff, we just did not get that person.
