Had an amazing dinner last night (Saturday). Place was packed and pretty rowdy with golf groups, proms, etc. Our server was actually Greg, the GM who was great. Staffing issues everywhere are seen here as well. But seeing Greg step in and be a part of the solution was a good thing to see leadership in action. Our meals were all spot on and the wines were superb. I would recommend Southern Prime and will return on our next visit to the area.

I had reservations at 7.30 and table was ready at 8. It appeared they were understaffed but they still accepted walk in traffic. Needless to say service was marginal. Some items on the menu were not available. Food was good but not special.

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary here as we always do and we had Cristy M as our waitress and she was by far the best waitress we have ever had, anywhere. She is amazing and I hope she knows how valued she is here.

Courtney, our waitress and Gregg (a manager) were fantastic. Everyone from the person who made the reservation to each member of the staff made us feel so special! The food was wonderful, zero wait time and the atmosphere was incredible. I’m actually writing a news article about it as we speak. A dear friend and fellow entrepreneur and I enjoyed Valentine’s Day here and it was the best experience I’ve had in a while! Thank you so much for your service and making me feel like your only guest!
The best restaurant I have been to in a while. Very elegant, great service & food! I cant remember the name of our server but he had glasses, and was beyond great! Highly suggest this

Sad to say, but it seems that the food and service isn't as consistent as my past experiences. I had ordered the dry aged ribeye steak. It was good but not great. A little thinner cut with a fare amount of fat. The sides of mash potatoes, just ok. The corn served was a tougher chewy kernel. My wife and daughter had the filets which were cooked perfectly. Thier sides of the same just ok. The service was ok but had been much better in earlier visits. At one time i waited almost 15min for a refill of my wine. Maybe they were a little short staffed.

We had a reservation for 8:15; restaurant adjusted Us to 7:45 per our request. Evening started out traumatic because We are African American and hostess seated Us in the back near the kitchen... I refused to sit there and we were placed in the “ Large parties room” which was loud/boisterous! I was later told about an intimate seating that would have been more appropriate for Our Date night. The Highlight of the evening was our server Kourtney! She redeemed what could have been a highly awkward insulting night! Southern Steakhouse needs an understanding that IF WE chose that restaurant... WE CAN afford it... AND I expect EQUAL top-drawer seating/service because My Money is green AND discriminating AS WELL!!! -DC/Kim David

We went to Southern Prime tonight for the first time and I cannot recommend them enough! 10/10! I submitted an inquiry online with the restaurant four days ago with a reservation request for a post wedding dinner for tonight (fully expecting that they may not be able to accommodate a last minute request like that). Greg contacted me almost immediately and was able to set it up. He then has worked with me repeatedly the last three days as I have made changes and needed to add more guests. He was SO accommodating, friendly and gracious about it. That same caliber of service was delivered tonight. Nikki was a fantastic server and did an amazing job with our group. She was on top of all the drink refills, was so sweet and provided seamless service. Van was also fantastic! He went out of his way to greet us, help finish setting up our table, took the box the flowers came in and brought it back at the end, set up a tray for the cake- ABOVE AND BEYOND. More than I could have asked. The hostesses were welcoming and hospitable. The wine room was perfect. The whole experience was highly impressive (and having worked in the food industry for a number of years, I don’t say that lightly) and everything I dreamed of for my friends’ wedding day. Thanks so much to all the staff at Southern Prime for a wonderful evening! We will definitely be back!

Came here for a valentines dinner with my husband. Reservations were easily made in advance. The atmosphere was elegant, the rose was a nice touch. Our server was excellent! I was expecting a posh/stuck up place, we got belly laughs and relaxed service. I can't wait to go back. The salmon was delish!
