Worst pho in my life. Not sure how they can call this “traditional Vietnamese Food”. Paid way too much money for a bowl of water with steakum.

I absolutely love this place. When they’re consistent, they have the best pho I have ever had. However, as stated, the issue is consistency. Some days the broth is less flavorful and unseasoned, the noodles are dry and undercooked, etc. Though, about 80% of the time, they’re on top of it and it is absolutely phenomenal.

The pho is salt water and noodle. The food is bland which is fine but the service is also terrible. It’s 2 teenagers running around carrying one plate at a time. This is possibly the worst food and service I have ever experienced. Would not recommend.

Not a way to run a business: I phoned in a to-go order. I called to confirm my order on my way over. I arrived at 7:50 PM to pick it up. The doors were locked. They're supposed to close at 8:00. They knew I was coming! I wemt around back and happened to catch a worker outside. My to-go order was sitting in the kitchen. (???) Geez, if your hours are til 8 PM, then stay open til 8! Especially when you have a to-go order ready for pick-up! It was all young kids inside running the place. They could care less. They just wanted to get out of there. The pho I ordered was pretty good. Too bad the service is lacking.

To be quite honest, this “ramen” is easily one of the grossest things I’ve ever eaten. To have spaghetti noodles in chicken broth and call it ramen is shameful. No flavor in the broth itself or the meat. The only thing you can taste is the onions. Couldn’t even bother to finish my meal. After paying close to 50 bucks for mine and my girlfriend’s meal, I should ask for my money back. Will not be returning.

I don't usually post bad reviews but I can't get over how bad the pizza was. It was legitimately the worst pizza I ever had, and I am not difficult. My friends got the burger and the phô, both barely passable. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food and they forgot the fries. The phô had no extra veggies. This place doesn't deserve the ratings it has. I don't know if something changed recently in the kitchen, but I didn't think it was possible to mess up a pizza like that. Please stay away

Great lunch place - enjoyed the pho and appetizers. We are planning on trying the pizza next time.

We have been to The Block several times and have never been disappointed. Their Vietnamese Phở Ga is my usual and my son enjoys the Spicy House Ramen. I have had their burger before but the beef patty was overcooked for my personal preference. Other than that, it was a decent burger. The service is always great and the restaurant is always clean. Parking along the front of W Pennsylvania can be limited but there is more parking available behind the building.

We had lunch there on 11 August. Pretty nice atmosphere. I had the spicy miso ramen, it was closer to pho then ramen but pretty good. If you are a hard core ramen aficionado I would order something else or think pho while eating it. My partner had a vegetarian sandwich with onion rings, really good sandwich and the onion rings were nice size & tasty, the batter was actually a little sweet but nice. Will go again and think pho while walking in the door. Sorry no pics--next time. 4.5 stars!
