Very unprofessional group. They canceled on our order 1/2 hour before our guests arrived. No explanation. It really threw us a curve.
Thyme and Place recently catered a dinner celebration for 15 of us and it was perfect! They communicated with me easily and thoroughly throughout the whole process. And the food was delicious! We had several tasty appetizers followed by fantastic lemon chicken, rice and broccoli. I would definitely use Thyme & Place Catering again!
Absolutely great place to have a wedding or any event cattered.
I enjoyed a delicous meal with friends at Thyme and Place Cafe. I enjoyed a Cobb salad and Coliflur Taco. Then all 6 of us shared 2 peanut butter pies. The Cobb salad had fresh greens and perfectly prepared bacon. The coliflur tacos were a delightful combination of curried cauliflower, avocado, pickled cabbage and a side of salsa made fresh in house. My other friends enjoyed their entrees. The best chicken salad, the quiche of the day and the pimento bacon and tomatoe sandwich. We are all looking forward to our next visit.
Love visiting this great place whenever I get up here to see my friend. Great laid back atmosphere and friendly service. The owner was very welcoming and stopped to chat with us. Love it.
Vegetarian options: They have some great options if you are vegetarian.
Wonderful little spot that's a bit hidden. I had the Mexican quiche and it was very flavorful. The cookie I had was also delicious. The restaurant was clean and adorable. The owner, chef, and server were all inviting and kind. Service was fast and good. Overall, it was a very good experience. Give this spot a try.
A gem of a restaurant. Cozy and unique. The owner and staff were wonderful. The menu diverse and accommodating. The food quality and taste were superb. Tucked away and a treasure worth the hunt! If you’re reading this and still haven't decided go, go for an excellent meal with heart.
A hidden gem!!! This place is little-known but the food quality is sooooo good!!! Bright/unique flavor combinations set thyme and place apart from the rest! I ate the peach and blood orange sirloin tacos and WOW!!! Highly recommend!
Found this gem on Yelp. Visited with my husband, my son, and his girlfriend. The food was so good and the flavor profiles excellent. My husband and I split a cup of the seafood chowder - fabulous. I had the Mexican shrimp tacos, my husband had the special quiche, my son had a taco that was supposed to come on a flour tortilla, but they gladly substituted corn, and his girlfriend had the salmon wraps. At the end we split a piece of peanut butter pie. The food was all delicious including the sides of homemade regular and sweet potato chips and the broccoli slaw. We will definitely go back. As we left the owner took our pictures with our motorcycles pulled up to the entry. Awesome
Excellent lunch and comfy ambiance.

Great desserts and good food. Great atmosphere!
We saw Thyme and Place and decided to give it a try. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed the fine weather and listened to the birds singing. The owner came to check on us and as we were looking for a place to go walking she made a suggestion that turned out perfect for us. Altogether a most pleasant experience at Thyme & Place. Good food, good service and a local tour guide! What more could you ask for? We look forward to returning and trying some other items on the menu.
Wonderful server and food. I experimented with new flavors and was thrilled
Delicious, healthy food in a delightful quiet setting. I ate the veggie wrap and shared my wife’s vegetarian arepa - both are highly recommended. The owner and waitstaff were friendly and informative. We will definitely return.
What delicious food! When I travel from Raleigh to visit my friend here, we are both so excited to have lunch at Thyme & Place. Today’s soup of the day, cauliflower bisque, was a savory meal in itself but then came the vegetarian arepas! Yum! I would (& may) drive weekly to enjoy them! The chocolate mousse for dessert was perfect as it wasn’t too sweet on a full & happy belly. This treasure is off the beaten path but still close to downtown-unpretentious yet soulful and well worth a visit. Wish we had a Thyme & Place in Raleigh!
