Great experience ordering online and only had to wait a few minutes to pick up. It was the freshest and hot out of oven pizza I've ever had! Definitely worth getting Pizza Stop!

I’ve always really loved this place, but it has not been the same as of recent. I understand it is off season, but it’s hard enough to find places to eat around here it’d be nice to actually be opened the hours that you advertise, instead we were met with a young girl shaking her head no when we pulled up and locking the door in our face. (Mind you it’s a Thursday at 7:50 PM!!!) I’d recommend skipping this lackluster place and just going to Cosmo’s.

Pizza Stop is my favorite pizza place on the Outer Banks. I am local, but am Italian with family in Boston, so we know what good pizza tastes like. I have been fed by Italian women my entire life :) Pizza Stop is the best alternative to my late mother's food that I can think of! Love em! And their other dishes are great too! Update: New ownership and food are not nearly as good as previous owners.

Attempted to dine in at Pizza Stop. We were abruptly met by a women who said we would have at least a hour wait, once we ordered! She was rude and VERY UNWELCOMING. If you don’t want walk-ins, put a sign on door, frustrating to make the trip to dine-in and made to feel unwanted!! Went to Cosmos and was welcomed, got table and drinks promptly.

I ordered pizza from Pizza Stop both times I came down to the OBX this year.My first order was for a large group and we got 5 pizzas for delivery in Duck on a Friday night. I was told an hour. I started calling after an hour and a half and initially was told the pizza left 15min prior. I had a hard time getting through they were so busy. We didn't get our pizza until 2 hours after ordering. I was on the phone with them again when it arrived and I don't think it left when the first person I spoke with said it did. When it arrived it was hot. And importantly, delicious.Second time around I ordered for pickup on a Friday night. They said 30min and it was ready when I arrived a little early. The woman at the counter was friendly. And again, the pizza was delicious.I'll forgive them for being busy on the first order. Knocking off a star for that. This is now my go to pizza spot when we come down.
stopped here on our way out of obx to get a few slices of pepperoni. it was about noon on saturday and it took only about 5 minutes to get the slices! while slightly pricey ($14 for 4 slices ouch), they did NOT skimp on the pepperonis. we were let down by the lack of crispiness and lack of flavor. i still enjoyed it enough, but it wasn’t world class pizza by any means.

Sadly a disappointment for us. Tried 2x but both were fails.Biggest problem for us was not enough cheese. The crust seems promising but under-seasoned. Fresh basil topping a bit underwhelming for something you often get free at other places.It's not perfect but our vote remains with Max's in Kill Devil Hills for best pizza on OBX.We hope Pizza Stop improves as it clearly has potential!

We ordered takeout and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Just a half cheese/half veggie. Thin crust (but not too thin), a little crispy, very good sauce (not salty) with perfect ratio of cheese. Was not expecting that for a tourist town but highly recommend. Oh and the green salad was great too. Lastly very affordable. Cheapest dinner we had on our trip.
