The owners are so gracious and have a heart for service. I recently ate there for the third or fourth time at a table beside two windows overlooking the river behind them and had a meeting at 2pm, well the meeting was great and I lost track of time but sensed it being very quiet and when I finished I began to wonder when they closed. Turns out they closed a while ago and they graciously let me carry on until I was done. No bringing me the check, no glares to let me know that I should go. Just gracious smiles and playing off the fact that they had closed. Oh yeah, and the food. The food is amazing. If you have never had this Tex/mex with maybe a Cuban flair, then you do not know what you are missing. Very generous portions, unending sweet tea, and unending smiles.

One of the only places to eat in Sparta in my opinion. Menu is a little limited so not a place for everyday dining but we try to go here a few times out of the week. Service is great and we absolutely love the charming small restaurant experience. We have been going here for years and they always share a smile and treat us as if we are family.

This place is delightful! The food is very good. We loved the salsa and the Cuban bread with pork especially. The nachos were light and fresh, and the view is lovely. The service is very good too.

Great little Tex-Mex place overlooking the river. Food was really good- huge servings and the best salsa I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. The owners are wonderful, service is quick. Next time I’m in Sparta, I’m definitely coming here again. Highly recommend!!!!

All I can say is wow. This place, on the side of a little river, is my go to place for a great cabin/latin sandwich and some sangria. The family that runs this place is soooo wonderful. Don’t miss this gem!

It’s a super cozy place, and the owners take care of you personally—they’re really nice and make you feel right at home. The food is amazing! I hadn’t tasted that real home-cooked flavor in years. 100% recommended!

Delightful, my hubby usually doesn’t enjoy margaritas but the mango margarita is very fruity and refreshing. The camarones al ajillo are spectacular and the jalapeño cheese is creamy and has the perfect kick. Nice owners and great service!!!beautiful river front property and cozy environment.

I expected Mexican food only and was pleasantly surprised with the best latin food I had at a restaurant! So delicious we went twice in one day and went back the next day! I’m a very good cook and latina, so, I know what I’m talking about.
Everyone was so friendly, polite and accommodating. We will definitely be becoming regulars at this place!?
