My mom and I live in va so it was our first time eating here and we absolutely LOVED it! I had the Trojan pile and fried pickles and she had a burger and buffalo chips! Everything tasted amazing! Our server Erica was very kind and always made sure we had what we needed❤️

This place is a great place to eat breakfast or lunch. They're off the beaten path for us but they've become our favorite place to eat now. The order is always correct. The food is always hot and tasty. The owners are always so nice and the place is always clean. You can't ask for more. Get the burger and add coleslaw. I had never had coleslaw on a burger before this place and now I can't imagine not getting it that way. They make the coleslaw fresh and they charge the same for a large to-go order of it as the grocery store.

The food and service here has been reliably top knotch over the course of 7 years of our dining in perhaps a dozen or more times each year. AJ and Ms Cookie run a great small business we encourage all to visit and support. Great quality foods prepared with amazingly consistent skill. Very fair pricing and generous amounts! Very country home filling. I got breakfast from there. My daughter got the burger. I'll try to burger when I get back to her. But so far the bacon was made perfect without saying anything, The scrambled eggs with cheese are the best i've had from anywhere. This gets engraving. The gravy has a little bit of a kick to it from the sausage Other than that the food was amazing and very filling. Def will be going back.

The food is delicious. The chef man is a little loud when he is mad about something. Otherwise, it tend to be a relaxing environment. I recommend the Ruben Sandwich. They give you lots of meat not so much Sauerkraut though. Overall, a good sandwich.
Way above average breakfast, excellent service. Set outside on the namesake patio on a lovely Saturday morning in June. It's definitely got a diner vibe but the food was both plentiful, fresh, and satisfying. In truth, some of the best restaurant biscuits I may have ever had. Huge, fresh, flaky, and just the right combo of buttery and salty. See the photos. If you find yourself in or around Sparta, give it a go!
