Great service- amazing tacos!!! I tried the Al pastor and the carnitas- both were excellent!

Food was as decent as mexican food gets here in the area. When I see margaritas on the menu I expect just that. Maybe if you like margarita flavors daiquiris from a slushy machine this is your place. Not the worst place hang out after a Friday of work in the office.

Spring Lake 3/28/24 6pm'ishDrinks - DeliciousFood - YummiestService - GoodThe only reason I didn't give 5* was that gratuity was included for only four guests. It didn't sit well with me.

I do concur, this establishments current state is subpar to many of the local offerings. I will no longer bring my proprietorship to this establishment.

I got a promotion and my girls got together and took me out to eat. Y'all the food was so good. I love the bean "dip" and they had two strengths of salsa. The drinks were huge and definitely potent. Overall a great experience. The music was bumping.

My visit to Guacoholic was marred by an unexpectedly poor service experience that left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the restaurant was almost empty, which set the expectation for a quiet and attentive dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality was starkly different. After being seated promptly by the host, that was the extent of the attention we received. Despite the sparse occupancy, it became quickly apparent that our table seemed to be invisible to the staff. We waited patiently, trying to catch the eye of anyone who might acknowledge us, but our efforts were in vain. What was even more frustrating was witnessing guests who arrived after us not only being greeted with menus but also receiving their drinks and proceeding to place their orders. The disparity in service was baffling and disheartening. It's important to note that we made several attempts to signal to the staff that we were ready to order, all of which were overlooked or ignored. After a significant wait with no acknowledgment, we decided that our appetite for Guacoholic's presumably delightful offerings was overshadowed by our disappointment in the service. We left the restaurant, still hungry and significantly disenchanted by the experience. It's a shame, as a place with a name like Guacoholic suggests a vibrant and exciting dining experience, especially for those who appreciate the art of a good guacamole. However, no matter how enticing the menu might have been, the fundamental aspect of customer service was profoundly lacking.I hope that this was an isolated incident and not indicative of the standard practice at Guacoholic. A restaurant, no matter how great its food might be claimed to be, is only as good as the service it provides to its patrons. I would urge the management to look into this matter, ensuring that no other customer has to experience what we did - a total disregard that ultimately led us to leave before we could even place an order.

Last night we took my 6 year old grandbaby here for her birthday dinner, party of 5 including her. It was 5:45pm on a Thursday when we got there. We were seated, chips/salsa tossed on table, host walks off. After about 15 min nobody had taken our drink order, no menus, no nothing. Servers were walking past right and left, and they ALL completely ignored us, didn't seem to see or hear when we politely tried to get their attention, etc. Finally I actually had to put my hand out to stop one of the servers so we could do our drink order-all chips and no water isn't a good thing. This lady's name was Mira, I believe, and even though we were not in her section, she took our drink order. Some of our drinks came, some didn't, still had no menus, servers sailing by right and left ignoring us. Finally flagged Mira down again and asked if she wouldn't mind checking on the rest of our drinks. They were finally brought out, still no menus, nobody has taken our food order, nothing. Servers still sailing by-we never got a straight answer as to who our server was even supposed to be.We were pretty disgusted by then so we flagged Mira down a third time and asked for the check; she begged us not to leave and went and got our menus herself. Our "assigned" server, if there even was one, never showed up to take our order, so Mira, who by this time is trying to keep a close eye on us, came over and took our order right then, despite the fact that we were not even in her section. We could tell she was completely mortified by the situation but she stayed so professional and kind. Three of our entrees eventually came out, orders were correct except they never brought the tortillas for the fajitas or the condiments we asked for. Twice. Servers still sailing by on both sides as if we were invisible. Except for Mira, who by this time was basically trying to juggle us as well as her own section. It was literally 15 more minutes before my son's food came, and the grandbaby's food never came at all, and I know it was on the ticket because it was on the bill. By the time all this had gone down none of us even wanted our food. We waited an extra 10 min just to get takeout boxes. Unbelievable.I am not one to complain in restaurants, because I know firsthand how it is, but this was undeniably one of the most ridiculous and worst situations I have ever endured in my 53 years! So I go up to the payment window and ask to see the manager, because they need to know what is happening here. The smirking young host guy tried to patronize me right away, acting aloof, yet also irritated, that I was there, and offered to take off the kids meal that never came. Then he tried telling me that the manager was too busy to speak to me. Finally after he saw that I wasn't going to be brushed off, the manager lady came over. She seemed to be mortified as well, probably because she had also been sailing by our table, and she offered a discount, etc. We basically told her we weren't complaining to get a free meal, just trying to let her know how we were treated and how helpful Mira had been. I think she was doing everything for us that she was allowed to do as far as the bill, but it was just too little too late. Also, by this time it was almost 8pm. That meal should have been free (except alcohol of course). If it had been, I probably wouldn't be writing this review.I guess the biggest irony, and insult, was that we were seated literally at the very first table you come to when you pass the hostess station. Those tables are between two rows of booths, so they're impossible to ignore-unless you just don't want to see them. New people coming in right and left, getting good service, eating and leaving, and here we are literally right inside the door and we can't get a second glance from anyone, except for the angel named Mira.Final thoughts-Guacaholics is a popular restaurant for a reason, food is absolutely divine, but if it seems to be a little busy, just know it's a mixed
