The food is absolutely delicious! I got the bbq sandwich, Mac n cheese and cornbread. Greatly priced as well!

They made a special cut of meat for me that I couldn't find anywhere else in town. I didn't eat, but it smelled great! I will return for the BBQ.

First of all the staff was outstanding and very polite. The Brisket was a little dry and definitely needed the sauce, the pulled pork sandwich was good, but next time I’ll put a little coleslaw on top to make it better. The sides of baked beans, coleslaw and texas caviar were excellent. Now the star of the meal was the burnt ends!!! The burnt end taco with toppings and sauce was absolutely amazing. The burnt ends sandwich didn’t last long as a sandwich because I got rid of bread because the burnt ends were that good! One thing I do know for sure is that I’m definitely going back for the tacos!!!

A true gem of Spring Lake. Not only is this a great place to get a good quality cut of meat for the grill, but a fantastic choice for lunch. Their lunch menu is primarily southern bbq with your staple fixings. I, a South Carolina boy, immediately ordered the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw and it was phenomenal. Seriously, for right around the same price of your typical fast food restaurant, you could be eating a meal here that feels “real” and not “manufactured.” If you’re asking yourself if you should go here, just do it! You won’t regret it!

Parking: Parking lot can be tight, with enough room for 10-12 cars at most before having to park somewhere across the street.

Ribs from butcher shop are awesome. Well prepared and ready for my grill. Price is excellent considering amount of meat on the bones.

Considering I’m from NC I would have expected it to be better than it was. It was lacking in a few areas. The chicken was a lil under cooked in my opinion and lacked flavor. BBQ sauce was given to add on top. The baked beans were good, and the mac-n-cheese wasn’t bad but was a lil dry or in need of a lil more cheese. The ribs were quoted at the wrong price by the cashier per bone but no biggie. The ribs were tender but lacked the true bbq/grill taste and were flavorless. The BBQ is not good at all and was dry. It’s not a bad place to come and grab a bite to eat and the brisket and burnt ends seem to be popular but it’s a place I would not come to often based off of the taste. The staff was nice and friendly as always.

One of the best culinary roadside treasures I've ever found. I love meat and this place does it right! I had the brisket and the burnt ends. This is the first time I've gone back for seconds at a serving counter restaurant! The taste was that good. I hope to be back real soon.
