Orient House Chinese & Sushi

The whole family loved this place! We're so excited to find a GOOD sushi place nearby! Son said the crab rangoon was the best he ever had, and I agree. Some faves were: the Green Beret roll, the crunchy crab inari, the Las Vegas roll, and the Spider roll. Highly recommend.

Lady behind the counter was very rude, and called me stupid twice. Because she missed hear my order over the phone. Disgusting personality 🤢

(7/23/25) you think your so slick deleting the part where you said you had a video of us 2 months ago being disrespectful, but we are one step ahead, I’ve attached a screenshot of the part you deleted. (we haven’t been there for at least 4 months so I am 100% confident that was not true). You offer to show it to us, yet when we showed up you said it would take too long to find it. We offered to wait until you find it or coming back once you’ve found it, but no, you’ve chased us out and banned us. You like calling people lairs but here you are lying and deceiving. This actions says a lot about the type of business owner you are. I will be returning with the police to settle this dispute. At the bare minimum I want an apology

If you need me to get a warrant now, I have absolutely no problem with that. And on top of that I will be reporting your business to the Better Business Bureau, Cumberland County Health Department and NC Attorney General – Consumer Protection Division. So if they do a surprise visit to your business I called them. I will not rest until justice is served!!

We always doordash from this place, the sumo platter is so scrumptious it is worth every dime!

A hidden gem in the heart of Spring Lake!

This small Chinese-Japanese restaurant completely blew me away. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented—but what really sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. Everyone here is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly—it feels like you're being taken care of by family.

The space is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Whether you're craving sushi, dumplings, or classic Chinese dishes, everything is made with care and full of flavor.

Went here for the first time today and the food was 10/10 in my opinion! I got the chicken lo-mein , tuna and yellowtail nigiri sushi, a Green Beret roll, and egg rolls and it was delicious! Not over seasoned or under cooked and the sushi was very fresh! The hostess was very friendly and welcoming as well! I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was a hidden gem. I love the selection because they offer Japanese and Chinese food. I really like the sushi 🍣. Try the green berret. The ramen 🍜 was good, but not my favorite. If you want to have a good meal with lots of options this is your place.

I probably get food from Orient house once per week. Always fresh, always fantastic! I love how all the ingredients are super fresh and everything is prepped really well. The owners are incredibly friendly too.

I used the drive-through thru window for pickup. The lady who helped me was friendly. I ordered the Habachi Beef. The flavors were good. The fried rice was decent and portions are good. My only wish is that the beef wasn't so tough and chewy. If I go back I may try chicken instead.
