This was my first visit to a Waffle House in this area and I really enjoyed it!

I had the waffle w/syrup and extra butter, a nice serving of bacon, a bowl of buttered grits, and a hash brown, of course. The food was cooked perfectly and I especially enjoyed the waffle w/syrup, but the style of hash brown they serve there isn't really what I prefer. That's not their fault, though, so it was all good.

The staff was very friendly and the service was great and ever-present; not bothersome yet still available at a moment's notice. That was awesome!

I'll definitely be back! I hope my next experience is as good as this one was.

I made an online order. Someone put a whole eggshell in my eggs, they absolutely didn’t bother to even pick it out. Every bite had eggshells in it. My other food was good. Eggs disappointing!

My wife and I recently dined at the Waffle House on Brook Lane in Spring Lake, NC. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The cook spent nearly an hour cleaning the grill, delaying our meal by 30 minutes. The waitress, while doing her best, lacked proper training. When she sought assistance from the cook, he merely handed her a price sheet without providing clear instructions on order writing or pricing.
The food was utterly disappointing. The grits were dry and lumpy, the hash browns were overly wet and soaked in butter or oil, and they tasted like dishwasher detergent and cleaning supplies used to scrub the grill. The waffle was undercooked, and the bacon never arrived. In fact, it was the nastiest food I’ve ever encountered at this location, prompting us to leave our meal.
To add insult to injury, the interaction at the register was infuriating. When we explained to the new waitress that the bacon was missing, she asked the cook about it. Instead of apologizing and removing it from our bill, the cook responded with a nasty, disrespectful attitude. She even had the audacity to blame the new waitress for the mistake, despite being the one who read the order aloud. As she walked back to the grill, she made snide remarks about my wife and me.
I am highly disappointed with the service we received tonight. I sincerely hope that the management addresses this issue promptly by retraining the young waitress and reconsidering the cook’s role
