We popped in here for soem waffles and coffee. There was a middle-aged gentleman (maybe named Gary?) and a middle-aged lady (forgot her name, but she had a lovely smile!) working. They were friendly, had great rapport with each other, and got our food to us quickly. The waffles were also some of the fluffiest we've gotten at a Waffle House, and they put a lot of toppings on them, making these some of the best waffles we've had. Highly recommend eating here if those two are working.

Went there on 3/10/24 around 5:30am an sat in a empty restaurant for 10 mins before a waitress got out of her car to come tell me that they was not going to serve me because the cook was tired from cooking. Luckily I was disgusted when I seen her come from her car after 10 minutes of me sitting there waiting for my order to be placed in that nasty place or else that building would have been flipped.

Ordered online March 6 2024, as soon as I get in the restaurant. The waitress is so fed up with someone and states “I’m not even worried about online orders, they’re from the other store being closed”… She was proved right, overcooked bacon, eggs and oh… I ordered double hashbrowns and didn’t get that… I WONT EVER TIP AHEAD EVER AGAIN… Dont complain when ya don’t make tips. Won’t be back. Also, don’t get a job if you don’t wanna do it….

Absolute WORST Waffle House I’ve ever been to!! Didn’t get our drinks until we got our check. Order was wrong and food was AWFUL. Had to ask three times to get a to-go container. Recommend going anywhere else but this location!

The Waffle House in Spring Lake was AWESOME this morning. The food tasted amazing, the cooks and wait staff were singing and dancing. Just made the food taste even better, great music too. Great vibes! Will be back for sure!

Had a great time. We were greeted by all the staff the second we walked in! The entire store was super clean, and that’s very rare for a waffle house. This location reached above and beyond my standards! My waitress was Amanda and she was awesome! She didn’t bother us every minute, she greeted us, made sure to get our drinks, gave us two minutes then came back and took our order. Checked on us every now and again but wasn’t a bother at all. She was amazing! The whole staff was honestly but I speak on personal experience from Amanda. Food was amazing as well. Definitely recommend taking the drive from Ramsey st. to this location because it’s totally worth it!

Started going to this waffle house after seeing roaches at the waffle house on lillington hwy... only to go to this location and see roaches as well!!!! went to grab a high chair and there were baby roaches all over it!!! Took a glance at the floor while walking away and literally saw roaches crawling out in the open floor. My fam & I walked straight out the door after what we saw. Absolutely insane & disgusting. I would advise anyone to please be cautious when eating at both Spring Lake Waffle House's, they need to be inspected and shut down immediately!!

I didn't think I'd ever review a waffle house LOL but as far as WH goes this was an awesome place! Our server was super sweet and we got our food QUICK. Which was noticeably better than usual as far as simple breakfast foods go.

The coffee was on point. Food tasted up to par what I expected & why we keep coming back.Some criticism I had to add but the tea tasted bitter like perhaps like the tea bags were left in too long.
