Enjoyed an early dinner here today. My dining partner and I split a double cheeseburger and a basket of the Sidewinder fries. The burger was big and fries portion most generous. She is a very light eater, but we finished it all! And loved, loved the Sidewinders. Burger was maybe a bit overdone, but still hit the spot with sloppy deliciousness. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and ample beer choices.

Always great! We go often to enjoy the music, trivia or just to hangout and relax.
My wife and I dined here with six good friends a few weekends ago and I have to tell you.., the food and service are excellent! Don't let the exterior of the building put you off, this is a very nice bar/restaurant. They have a nice selection of beers to choose from. This place has a diner feel to it, and is a lot of fun. Often, there is live music in the evenings. Our server, Gracie, was very friendly and professional. She adeptly served our table of eight, and kept everyone happy. My wife had the BBQ ribs which she raved about, and I had the Flounder dinner, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We will come here again when we're in the area!

Totally blown away first, our server Gracie was on a par with Michelin rated restaurant The drinks were good the nachos excellent and the blast from the past hamburger steak with fried onion rings was killer Laid back high quality

You'd drive right by if you didn't know it was there, but I'm really glad that it came up when looking for places to eat in Spruce Pine. The young lady who was seemingly handling every table in the place as well as the bar was great! She was kind and attentive and added to the experience. The atmosphere is very cool and makes it feel like a dive joint or like you're eating out of the back of an old barn or something. The food was great. We had a group of 6 adults and everyone was very happy with what they got.
What a pleasant surprise. Our waitress both times has been amazing. The beer is cold, food is good and place is super warm and welcoming. Only criticism is the cod is too thin and was a bit overdone. It's usually for sandwiches there (hence the thickness I suspect) but she got it as a plate and would have preferred smaller, thicker piece.The wings are AMAZING.Maybe they can get the staff a wheeled cart with a hot box and umbrella to bring food over from the kitchen (also serves the drive in) in inclement weather :-)
