A hidden gem in Spruce Pine. If you are looking for excellent Mexican food, then Blue Ridge Tacos is your place. The Birria tacos were superb. They had a special, 4 tacos for $12. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the corn tortillas were hand made. My wife had an Al Pastor and a Shrimp taco and she loved both. The Mexican street corn appetizer was also delicious and we finished off dinner with Fried Ice Cream. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant whenever you are in the area.

20% over priced; 50% flavor; portions on the small side.Yooo!!!...STORE BOUGHT CORN TORTILLAS...they all fell apart, thick, bland, straight from Ingles probably, aweful, come on guys, do betterBean-dip (7) is watered down refried beans straight from the can, needed salt; I don't salt Mexican food, ever.Tamales were bland, weak maza and too much of it. The rice that comes with everything is overcooked and bland. The actual shrimp I got with Camerones Diablo, the shrimp were perfect, not overcooked.Server was excellent. Atmosphere is positive.Place is clean. Lots of chips & salsa thankfully.

I hate to do star ratings... it seems like Google reviews skew toward 5-star and 1-star reviews. Let's just say the following: I ate here. I got tacos. They were delicious. I'll be coming back.

Very good place to eat and very good atmosphere. If you are handicapped there is parking in the Alley behind the business, otherwise you will have to go up a flight of stairs to get inside. Street parking was adequate. Try the sopes they are amazing and the burgers are high quality. I suggest the BEC burger it is so good and it's always a pleasure to eat here.

I feel like I've been lied to my whole life. I ordered the ACP and it was phenomenal!!! The queso is the best around. So much food I had to get a to-go box. My husband ordered the tacos Al Pastor and has not stopped talking about them. If you are looking for Mexican food in Spruce Pine, don't waste your time with the other places. This is the place to go.
